Haha, I like your optimism mate. Dogma, I'm not sure the natural state of the corrado is being able to pass an mot or impress a mechanic. Think most of the time mechanics are swearing at them!

Cheers guys. Not sure, Sean. Still under some pressure to sell as it doesn't get used, and with a fresh ticket it's quite tempting. Prices seem bad at the moment for anything non original and not low mileage, so might not be worth selling anyway. Plus Alexander would probably never speak to me again if I sell! :lol:

Passed the mot with flying colours! Tester was very complimentary about its condition and ended up taking it for a run up the road, big smile when he got back. Yay!

My neighbour has an all original series 1 coupe. Must be worth £150k. Spoke to him about it once, he was like many of us on here and saying it was meant to be driven... often see him off to Tesco in it.

That is a great idea! We should sort a day and meet up. Thanks for the generous offer on the wheels... I'll think about it! :lol: I'd be gutted if it did have to go, and it would definitely be the last resort. You're right, it must be a big celebration next year... wonder what might get planned...

Started the old boy today, but couldn't take him out for a run. All seemed fine, up to temp ok and no funny noises..... not bad for being sat for 5 months. Going to change the abs sensor this weekend and get him booked in for an mot. Under pressure from the missus to sell as I never use it so going to drag him out of hibernation slightly earlier this year to see if the love comes back and I use it more.

I like messing with cars but some of you guys are seriously good at this! I'm jealous already know how good the finished article will be. Top work Chris.
