Well done, that man :)

I'm also intrested in the setting for the join between the braided hose and the solid piping - i.e. the join at the 'other' end of the braided hose.

I'm interested in the same subject - doing the same brake upgrade quite soon.

Just got back from holidays - and there was this envelope ... ... ... Ta for the stickers :) :)

I will be getting in touch with them next week - so will try get some idea of costings.

My two-pennuth :- I have always considered that the C is one of the quickest and most effective heaters of any car I've owned - except when the blower motor decided to go 'awol', as it does regularly. All speed settings work most of the time, then for no apparant reason they are 'dead' - then they come back to life of their own accord. Dry joint somewhere I guess. Must get it tracked down before next winter, lol.

What car did the moonroof come from ? Passat, I assume, but which model and year ?
-
Does it just cover the Corrado ? Or all VW models ?

My wiper motor is also slow at times, tho with the use of Rainex I dont have to use it that often when up to speed. But I was wondering about having the motor rewound. Anyone done that ? It's only an electric motor after all, surely ??

This might be the start of a long thread - see what kind of VR I saw the other day ... ...

It might also be the handbrake cable 'levers' on the back of the calipers. Mine on the drivers side was v sticky - but a squirt of WD and manually working them on and off cured it. See here for a more lengthy 'how-to' :) viewtopic.php?f=23&t=87154

I now have, as of yesterday, a VT competition front mount fitted - and whilst there is a noticeable increase in vibration, it is only when stationary with the engine is idling. Once on the move I cannot really detect any more noise/vibration at all :) Just my input for those still pondering what to go for.

What's the timescale on these ? Not rushing you, but I'm away end Jan/Early Feb and dont want you thinkin I've done a runner, lol.

Two plates I've seen that I thought were pretty damn good :- SLAMG55 on a Merc V6 FFS on an R32 See pics here - viewtopic.php?f=17&t=46279&p=1019884#p1019884 and see the other one I rather liked, in the next message in that thread. ;)

I was in a filling station a few weeks ago and a guy filling up alongside me said 'Beautifull car, mate.' Clearly he hadnt seen the other side - which needs a little 'TLC' to say the least. A job for this spring :)

Thanks, GC - I'll have a good look at that.

I've had Recaro seats in two cars, but not in the C - yet :) I had a Cavalier SRi in '83, Recaro seats as standard. They were pretty damn good, very comfortable and supportive. Drove from the South of France to Calais in, virtually, one hop at the end of a fortnight's holiday. Then home to East Anglia once we docked in Dover. So about 900 miles in all. Got home on the Sunday evening, at work early Monday morning with no aches at all - mind you, I was a bit younger then :) Had an Escort RS2000 ( not the Turbo ) in '92 - now those Recaros were extremely supportive and had both front and back height adjustments, not seen that on any other car. My C has the normal cloth seats, which are ok, but I've acquired a pair of Recaros from an Evo2 which I aim to have a go at fitting once the weather warms up a bit.

Thanks - the 950M is the Fast Road one for the VR.
