  1. Admittedly I have had to stop driving whilst holding my Glock out the window with my right hand, laying caps into bus stops and drive-thru KFC's, but it's a small price to pay :)
  2. Honestly you gotta try it, you can hold the wheel at 9 and 3, and go round nearly any corner (at rediculous speeds obviously) without having to take your hands off the wheel at any time, just point and shoot. F1 style except in slow motion :) You soon get used to not being able to palm it when parking but feeding it through is no big deal. I have a 280mm and a CG-lock to hold me in place and I challenge anyone to throw mine into a series of quick corners and not come out smiling
  3. Just to take this completely back off topic again, the next No-Rice meet is the Wednesday 09/11/2009 starting at 18:00 onwards, I'll start a thread in the events section in a bit
  4. No Kel that's the worrying thing, far from it :help:
  5. After watching that video and weighing up all the implications, I can now officially declare that I'd sleep with my mum to own that car So awesome it hurts!
  6. Looks sick mate, makes me miss my nugget
  7. I would hate driving mine without my 280mm Team on it, just makes everything so much more precise, apex hitting heaven :)
  8. I know it wasn't directed at me but I go No rice loads, we should get a few of us to meet up before and plan a Corrado convoy one day, too many E36 BMW's there at the moment so we need to show what we're rolling with :)
  9. That would explain it, as I've mentioned before mines had a fair bit of work for an NA and maybe the BMC wasn't supplying the extra air flow I needed, I'll get a pic up when I get a chance
  10. They don't have specif kit for the VR Corrado, all you need is just the basic filter kit (larger type), then get a short length of 3" internal diameter silicon hose (ebay £6) and some jubilee clips Storm do a Corrado fitting kit for around £20 but it's just these elements so it should be easy to make your own
  11. Yeah right, somebody else can have a go with it at that price Yep that's exactly the one Kev, just fancied something different and if I'm honest I'm very impressed. I think its a little less restrictive then the BMC but still pretty well heat shielded, makes all the right noises and feels a bit more lively, be interesting to get it on the rollers Still a massive fan of the BMC though don't get me wrong
  12. I really like the look of them but it's a space saving idea, I would've thought the normally CDA makes a bit more power surely? Sold my BMC recently and fitted a Simota Carbon Fibre Aero Form kit, absolutely love it! Was a pig to fit but god damn it's a lot of fun and looks extremely cool. I'll get a pic up as it's a new one on this thread.
  13. The one major thing I miss about my Valver is the colour...Nugget yellow I'd love my VR to have immaculate nugget paint Weirdly enough I sold my Valver to a good friend on here who then proceeded to drop a VR lump in it anyway, bit jealous if I'm honest :)
  14. Thanks for the advice  I've given up on the idea :brickwall:
  15. Anymore advice on this? Is it quite simply impossible to fit a 4 pin maf to a 5 pin car?
  16. That's very rubbish, can I not lose a wire and fit the 4 pin job?

Fair enough, definately super crap weather for any diy tomfoolery, hope you get a chance to unleash the beast before too long :)
  18. I've got my hands on a lovely looking polished metal maf housing but it's for a Golf a think, it's got the T-section coming off it for the maf to screw into, rather then the open hole for the 'rado flat type maf, hope that makes sense can I fit a Golf one? My current one has 5 wires if that makes any difference, I don't really know what Im talking about if Im honest

You not fitted them yet then? Thought it was going to be a weekend job?
  20. I'd say go for whatever looks like a strip of light rather then being able to see the individual led's, only because that can sometimes look like a weird set of girly eyelashes, new Saab's for example look :censored: after trying to copy Audi (not that they looked to great before mind)
  21. I've actually started to hate them on R8's now it's got that bad, in the same league as Venoms, lexus clusters, and LED washer jets I think now Saying that though the photoshop looks cool and there's only one way to find out if it works, as the C is so straight and moody looking I think 2 straight lines to eccentuate that could look alright

My experience... Tried to take it off in situ, not a chance Put the cam in a substantial clamp and got a breaker bar on it, smashed the clamp to bits! Jack the car up, put the cam under the tyre and dropped the car on to it to hold it in place, moved the whole car with my mate sitting in it with the brakes on!! Welded a 15mm spanner on to the nut to help, snapped the spanner! Got an airgun on it, didn't budge and finally rounded it off ...admitted defeat and took the sprocket off a spare front cam I had

You genuinely have no idea how much of a god send that probably was, that 15mm bolt is like nothing else on this planet!
