Tell me more Pete, how much you charging?

The 3 stage fan is a bit of a cheat, they are all 12v feeds from the fan controller but the fan unit itself has 2 resistors built in, 1st speed goes through 2 resistors, stage 2 goes through 1 and stage 3 is direct feed. If you search for vag documents on google drive theres a wiring diagram for the fans, I can't get on that website at work but I'll try remember to link it later on

Is your local shop 'just ****s'... sorry just kits? If so ignore everything they have to say. Never raced a Schumacher menace but seen one and they looked a lot of fun! 3 speed aren't they? Fla, Schumacher have just re-released the procat, exactly the same as it was back in the 90's with just a couple of tweeks of course. I used to race 10th scale electric buggy years ago, been very tempted to get another as I loved racing Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

As said above, doubtful its matrix if its near bonnet cable. I'd probably suggest cleaning out sunroof drain as its runs down the A pillar. Also worth checking seal at bottom of windscreen, I wouldn't worry but mine had lifted and caused rust at the bottom of the A pillar.

Are they bmw e30 ones? heard a few people use these in corrado's.

I buy all my stuff from AVS VW (http://www.vwspares.co.uk/), always been massively helpful and prices are great as well, and if its VW specific he usually just gets it direct from VW and saves me the hassle of an hours round trip to collect the parts. As for make if Febi is available I always go with them, I often find its better quality than the OEM stuff, certainly a million times cheaper!

Spoiler re-working with aftermarket ecu and gauges
swiftkid replied to ryan_welshman's topic in Interior
What I mean is, the kr was cable so I assumed the abf was as well but if it's electronic then great stuff. That's what the vr6 gearbox uses so nice an easy Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk -

Is it an electronic feed? You could try, and I'd maybe do a quick Google just incase my advice is bad, teeing off that signal and connecting it to the junction, from memory it's the blue one but I have a terrible memory Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk -

When you say new dashboard gauges do you mean you added some gauges or you replaced the clocks? How are you running your speedo? I've had a quick look at the wiring diagram and I believe the spoiler module gets its feed from the blue/white wires that join in the junction box (well not a box, those blue/yellow junctions above the fusebox). As long as you have a working speedo, you should be able to get the spoiler working -
Bit of a long shot but has anyone got a cruise control stalk? I believe the mk3 is the same. Just after the stalk and module, don't need any of the pedal box parts

I did look at the corsa recaro's as they are supposed to be Recaro CS (sportster?) but the bolsters are different, not as bucket. If its the Recaro CS you are after (but cheaper without the scene tax), look at Mini Cooper JCW, Renault Clio/Megane sport, Land Rover of some variety and Focus RS, think theres a few more that have them in as well

That's friggin ridiculous, so inconsiderate. Some people just do not think, my mate used to live near a school, got home one day to find a woman parking up across his driveway instead of parking an extra few seconds walk away, said "excuse me but your parked across my driveway", got the reply "I'm only going to be 5 minutes"... She wasn't too happy when she got back to find her car in the middle of the road Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Ahh yes, I always think I'm 10 years younger than I actually am. It's 2008 next year right? Agree with charging it, I reckon a small turbo on the 24v would bring back the vr6 kick you get at 3k ish, definitely something I miss with the 24v smooth torque curve Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Got a set of brock b2's, doubt they are your taste but they are 9x16 all round staggered. The ones herisites used to have Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I did the same, got some sticky back foam and made a surprisingly big difference Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Sorry I can't help with the ecu but cp ecu is obd1, not sure if I've got my wires mixed but just making sure your not under the impression it's obd2 And to answer jekel, have a look at the obd2 conversion thread but here's an overview Better throttle response, mpg, smoother torque curve, gets rid of all the isv pipework and better idle Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I reckon a new set of wheels will help... Happy to take those old bbs off your hands ;) Does look a cracking car, i sometimes feel like getting rid but know I'd regret it, probably why I'm a hoarder - don't need stuff but if I get rid I might need it. Its 20 years of corrado next year isn't it? Hopefully there's a mass corrado meet and definitely not a time to get rid Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

even better than my £120 wilwoods ;)

Oosh, that is a proper bargain! Nice find Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Not had them on my corrado because I usually buy wheels with tyres, it's cheaper than a set of tyres! But I swear by uniroyal rainsports. I replaced a set of continental conti sport 5's (I think) on my bmw and although they weren't as grippy, the road noise was no longer ear splitting, didn't tram line and grip in wet is amazing. They still grip really well in dry, and camskill seem to sell they for next to nothing. Have a look at 195/50 if you cant get 205/50, think a few people run that on here Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I don't know how you can have a vrt and not drive it for that long! Mines been off the road since October and I'm itching to drive it again. Would definitely love to see how a vrt compares to an r32, still got my vr6 engine in my garage just incase I ever want to build a vrt Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Green VR6 near Leconfield (East Yorkshire) on sunday, seen a few times in and around Beverley plate ends VRG. Looks very smart!

Have you upgraded to VR6 master cylinder or are you still on 16v one? If not my moneys on master cylinder, I've seen a few discussions in the past. I've got a set of wilwoods to go on with big pistons so I'm likely to have the same issue.

Welcome to the forum! I started life in a 1.8 16v, completely rebuilt the engine and it really shifted! It sounded well with a full exhaust and swiss cheesed airbox, it felt faster than my VR6 but watching the speedo there is just no comparison. The VR6 is quite a lazy engine but when it gets going it really does go well, the noise is amazing and fuel economy is surprisingly good. I've put an R32 in mine but I do miss the VR6 The problem you get with valvers, is that if someone doesn't look after it properly you are in for a world of headaches as the k-jet is an absolute gremlin nightmare. If you were to go for a valver, I'd look for a 2.0 16v (late spec), can't comment on G60 as I've never had one or even been in one but would highly recommend a VR6
