  1. Long shot but has anyone got a cruise control stalk for a late corrado/mk3 they are not using? Could do with module as well if anyone has that too, don't need pedal box etc just stalk. Cheers Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Reiger

Definitely not 288mm as they are not banjo. Too short to be fronts so rear g60? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. Only thing you'll find it speedo will be a fraction out. If you were 4wd I know it causes issues with Haldex running different profiles but fwd should be fine Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  4. Just check wing gap and Headlight/grill gap, it's quite noticeable sometimes as they don't quite fit perfect but should be ok. I'd definitely be wanting some discount as it's not what you wanted, personally I prefer the late bonnet but that wasn't what you ordered and as you say, isn't original. 5. Is there 12v coming into the heater control? If no, check fuse, can't remember which one. Could the bulb be a blown one? worth checking. Lastly, it could just be poor illumination, the green spider like thing has a habit of cracking when reassembling so reduces light output to front.
  6. Ooh I love fresh red paint, looks stunning! And very jealous of tarox brakes, got some wilwoods currently sat waiting for me to pull my finger out and get some carriers made up! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Carbon Bonnets

In terms of handling and power I don't think it would be night and day, certainly not to a point where you'd start taking on porsche's and ferrari's (unless your in a VRT of course) but the bonnet weighs a ridiculous amount so probably like not having a passenger in
  8. Anyone spoke to studio in car? They do all sorts of audio and custom made stuff, I've seen mk2 golf parts but not corrado. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  9. Hey can't help with where to go but I have been warned against timing chains on the e90's. The e46 had the timing chains on the front for nice easy access but then they moved them to the rear so it's gearbox off/engine out job Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  10. I've got the heater control cog drawn up in 3d, did mean to send it to someone on here but completely forgot. I do have 3d software (auto desk inventor) if you need anything modeling, although I'm a bit rubbish at remembering to send it on. Have loads of time over Christmas to play while I'm visiting in laws down in Devon though Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  11. Echo the above, full central locking is operated by the vacuum pump (in right hand side of boot inside a foam housing, when you pull carpet back you can't miss it). The pipes then run right the way down the sill and behind the dash to offside, you can see the pipes near the fusebox. The pipes do tend to deteriorate over time but if it's all working don't worry Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  12. It won't wreck the block and its doubtful the above scenario will happen but personally I'd prefer to stick with a good quality plastic one which will probably last another 100k than a lower quality metal one. If everyone was selling metal impeller versions I would agree its maybe a resolution to a problem but seems most of the higher quality sellers have plastic whereas the cheaper stuff go with the metal
  13. I think the impeller is personal opinion. I prefer not to have a metal impeller, if the bearing goes it will just happily chew up your block, if plastic goes just replace it. A good quality pump like febi should be fine Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  14. Yea, I had wondered if you were going to try look at doing a jmr rwd setup or just using something from another car. The ones I've seen use a bmw e30 rear end if I recall correctly. Will definitely be interested in how it handles, I'd read somewhere a guy over in America had sold his because it was lethal being such a short wheelbase but I reckon with the right setup it would be even more go-kart like Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  15. Very interesting! One thing I'd love to do is go rwd, 4wd has been in the back of my mind but rwd is much more fun. Are you keeping that a secret/currently planning/plan to develop something? When I spoke to you at festival I got rhe impression the jmr diff requires the front to be driven for the rear to follow? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  16. That sounds excellent as I'm after one Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  17. I presume this is from a kr engine? If so I think you can push the spade out and just crimp a new connector on Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  18. Hmm... Not so convinced about setting up the vr6 like an r32. I understand why you would want to do it, and honestly it's something I'd be interested in, but surely in order to do that you'd have to reduce power lower down which is the benefit of the 24v, but without giving yourself a gain at top end? I'm no mapper, so I'd be very interested to know what the figures and graphs are like as a comparison Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  19. This one? https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/box-of-new-parts-for-corrado-vr6/1196228380 Edit: beaten to it! If anyone wants it but doesn't need wishbones let me know Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  20. From what you are saying I'd agree with coullstar, strip it out and get it prepped to how you would want it on track, uprate brakes etc and give it a blast. If the engine goes bang you've lost nothing. Again, not trying to convince you against a 1.8t and also not wanting to start a 6cyl vs 4cyl debate but a 4mo has a smoother torque curve so although peak power figures may be similar (around 240bhp), the torque curve will be smoother and be a bit more weight over the front axle therefore theoretically be better for traction. 21. If you've read the 20v conversion thread on here and doesn't have the answers have a look on clubgti. Rule of thumb is 6 pot gearboxes go with 6 pot and same for 4 cylinder. Don't know about driveshafts I'm afraid but I'm fairly sure you can keep 5 stud, certainly can if you need custom driveshafts but doubt you'll need them with all the conversions going on. As for wiring, I've heard doing a 4mo conversion is similar to 1.8t wiring if you want to use oem management (very easy!). Lastly, I am anything but a purist but I am a 6 pot guy so would recommend a nice cheap 4mo instead with the added benefit of the baffled sump ;) either that or go out the box with a tfsi lump! Buckets of power and tuning available! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  22. A pretty car? Are we looking at the same car? The bonnet flew up on one down York dragstrip the other day and it made it look better! They go pretty well but they must be in a similar bracket to corrado's value wise Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  23. Like you say, sounds like it's not engaging if it's just whiring. go back with a tap-ometer and give it a couple of taps, should hopefully free it up I see you've got a passat Centre sun visor, saw a couple in scrapyard the other day so me and a mate got them, haven't installed it yet though. Lights do look tron like, got to be a compliment as tron is an awesome film! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  24. Has it sold and been picked up now then? I know the feeling, not with my last rado as I was glad to see the back of it but my first car was gutting seeing it go. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
