It wasn't a great fit first time so I've got some slight tweeks to make but overall its not bad. It's not an expensive printer so the quality isn't perfect but good enough to test. Once I'm happy I'll just upload the file somewhere and people can just print their own. I've got another project I'll be printing soon, I'm very excited about that! Concept number 1, some improvements to make but it's a start Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

So I decided to treat myself the other day and bought a 3d printer... Got loads of projects to get going on but this is something I've been playing with for a while. It's only first print and I'm still setting up printer so loads of improvements but it's a start. Looking forward to designing some goodies! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I went to hobbycraft and got some sticky back foam, worked an absolute treat. Anything to stop air passing by will work though.

Most people use a 9" and an 11", that's what I have Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Keep fan module, use spal/revotec/comex/eBay special. Got my comex (revotec) from Burton power I found were cheapest. Combined with some custom fan brackets from a group buy a while ago. You will lose the 3 speed unless you want to mess around with Resistors, I didn't want to risk messing with Resistors and heat in the engine bay so wired them all up together. At that price I can't see them going anywhere either! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I don't I'm afraid, I think they are all the same but can't say for sure. Mine came with the R32 engine so I just left it on

Yes, I'm using a mk4 pump. Heard they have different running pressures but looks and runs exactly the same

Unfortunately can't make it this year but been a few times now and its a cracking show, me and a few friends travel across the country from Hull to go. As said above its really nice site next to the castle, couple of years ago during the show they filmed 'don't tell the bride', wandered right past our campsite! Will be there next year though! -
I presume this is a 2.25" system? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Just had a quote from my insurer Adrian flux, same as it being on the road! They wanted 187 which was only cheaper because I took breakdown cover off. Any other people worth trying? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Will consider sensible offers Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Nice to hear the R32 is going back in, it really is an awesome engine in the corrado. What you need now is a set of Brock B2's that used to live on this car... funnily enough I have the very set for sale ;)
-
Selling my Brock B2 wheels, 16x9 all round, 5x100 et15 & et30 with 215/40 Goodyear Eagle f1 with 4mm on front, Toyo Proxes T1R on rear with just over 2mm (legal but just) They are painted with a slight anthracite tint which look amazing in the sun, do have some stone chips and light lacquer peel but I happily put them on show I'd love to keep them but I've got new wheels and they are just sitting around so someone might as well get some use out of them. I ran them on my corrado vr6 with 5mm spacers on front to clear 288mm brakes. £550, collection preferred near Hull, may part ex on motorsport wheels/compomotive with brake clearance, teves20 brake setup, nice corrado interior bits or audi a3 8p s-line heated leather interior (on the off chance someone has anything) Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Also my old brock b2's are for sale if anyone is interested, will try get an add up but just chucked them for sale on Facebook for now. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

So nothing to report sadly. Been doing a whole lot of diy and taking far too long to do it. Managed to dig her out and clean the garage a bit, took a couple of attempts to fire up but think it was just getting fuel to the rail. Managed to clear a load of stuff out the garage ready for some upgrades so hopefully get some time to work on it Still on the lookout for Teves20 stuff and cruise control stalk if anyone has anything kicking about Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Yea hammerite will do the trick. By brush if you want to pile it on or spray if you want to try get a better finish
-
Nothing wrong with that! give it a wire brush and paint and it will look brand new. I've got one but all I did was sand and paint it, not sure what it looks like now.

Absolute piece of artwork, perfect example Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Wendy where are these engineer jobs?! I'm a design engineer and I enjoy my job but hate everyone around me, always seems that everyone is out to get us engineers instead of trying to make money for the business, spend most of my time fixing cock ups or defending myself Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

That is properly unlucky with it pulling the threads out, I've seen it done when people overtighten due to poor fitting but never due to pressurization. I'll have to keep that in mind if I need a radiator. Just looking at the exhaust and that does look a really fantastic fit, I realise its a few years back you posted it! Never been completely happy with the fit of my miltek

Garage recomendation near Altrincham, Manchester (Water pump woes!)

I think it's preference, I'd prefer not to have a metal propeller spinning around in the inside of my engine if a bearing goes but a lot of cases of overheating is caused by the blades breaking so metal resolves this. Like I said, it's preference, I went for a febi pump as I've always found their quality to be excellent Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk -
If it's a 90 I'd imagine it's been swapped, 92 could have been crossover. If it's got a 5 slat grill it's got early slam panel, I tried to fit a 5 slat to mine but doesn't fit without modification. Early bumper the swage lines flick up near the arches and will either have early indicators or badly fitted late ones. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I used green bulbs and they didn't look too bad, not perfectly orange but better. Unfortunately I had a jobsworth mot guy and he wouldn't pass them, I was going to get some led bulbs instead, I've seen them and they do seem to give a nice orange light Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
