yea sorry guys, was trying to get vagcom working until late and i just am losing track of time :( -
i would definately get your arches rolled though!
-
was going to say, wheel size sounds fine. im sure there are more people running similar size and et but mr renshaws old corrado with corvettes ran a similar size, also zak's bbs ch's must have been similar. but tyre size is an utter joke, it will look shocking and you will need to raise it so it won't rub. as osv says you will need lower profile tyres!
-
sorry, just checked the list. meant to say 2 for me plsthankyoubye

I havn't actually done the 24v conversion but i bought an engine, did all the research then sold it :(
-
you sorted that wiring from ecu to dash yet? its an absolute barstuard to get hold of!
-
easy method to tell, check the back of the engine lol. it will say either 2.0 or 1.8
-
could it be a g60? jus make sure the bonnet is raised in the middle as, from what i have heard, the vr6 needs the hump. and as for the bumper make sure it has fogs and indicators that sit flush.

yea, i think its a very thirsty beast when warming up and town driving. just got 400 miles to a tank, was happy with that! -
make sure you bring plenty of swear words, i nearly ran out once
-
you havn't pulled the cable as tight as it will go have you? slacken it right off just make sure theres no slack. just make sure when you are adjusting it you have the grill out and anything else in the way so you can pop it open if its not tight enough

I really wish you would finish this, i've absolutely loved it every step of the way and seriously think this would be one of the best corrado's in the world! perhaps a bit ott but i love the way its a driveable car with soo much work done to it, power and looks without undriveability which most show cars become.

hehe, the joys of owning a house. i just wish i could buy my first house! on another note, apparently im down in kettering this sunday so if your about and its good weather i could pop round for a butchers at your car and see what you think to kw's?

look what I found! should it be in my kr engine as well?
swiftkid replied to krnau's topic in Engine Bay
didn't have one in my old one and everyone i know with one doesn't have it either -
i wouldn't go near it, look like rust is bubbling on the arches and i bet the engine will take some bump starting... utmost respect for the guy restoring it though, if i had a hat id take it off for the guy!

I really need a pocket kevhaywire for all the info you have, is there an app for you? i usually wait till 80 degree's oil temp before any heavy footing, perhaps a bit drastic but i really want to treat my car with respect -

 thats exactly what i do, its annoying at the moment though in the winter, i drive 30 mins home from work and literally as i get home it turns 80 degrees so no playtime on way home from work :( -
I'd be interested in the answer to this, mine has a strange stutter as im cruising but not as bad when accelerating. its like driving along a bumpy road so is barely noticeable but when on a smooth road its quite easy to tell.
