  1. lol, well i didn't see any lag but my router has been majorly playing up last few days!!! was a good close race, i just couldn't catch hayes or kris. Well like i said online, if im available ill jump on and take part on behalf of anyone or jus have a drive to make up the numbers as im pretty busy at the moment as well.
  2. just parked up next to a nice blue corrado, guessing a valver or g60 lowered on some nice wheels. In petrol station near brandesburton roundabout (East Yorkshire), was soo strange... i never see corrado's round these parts and as i was walking to my car i noticed a car i thought, "hey that looks alot like a corrado"... i had to double take at it
  3. Thanks for the points for Fujim, I owe you all a beer :D Didn't really make much difference in the championship but its nice to put my name to a win :D
  4. absolutely stunning! everything just fits and looks factory, amazing job!
  5. red not too sure about, black i reckon would be a good idea. what are you proposing to do about the oil cooler? going mocal or altering the mount?
  6. i would go for painting it, keeping polished things look tidy will be a nightmare!
  7. ill probably stand corrected but when i was looking to do the conversion, the dubpower one was pretty much the only 'off the shelf' manifold available. i phoned a couple of tuning companies about a price for one but they all said they get them from dubpower. no doubt situation has changed now but i would guess its either custom make one (at a possible high expense) or go dubpower
  8. buy one from someone breaking one on here, will probably be about £20. Do it yourself, its a bit fiddly and you need to buy a splined bit and a hub nut socket if you don't have one but to be honest i bet it will save you at least £200 and you get to get your hands oily :D
  9. brilliant advice as always kev, my directional dial is doing exactly as you described and i've been out laid upside in my car trying to figure out whats wrong but was too cold because its started snowing.
  10. you can practice by using the preview button before you submit your post, lets you preview your post before you actually post it :D
  11. sorry can't confirm if they are correct but i would assume if you are taking the rocker cover off you would need a rocker cover gasket/seal not a head gasket.
  12. mine doesn't blow on windscreen at all as of monday lol, think yourself lucky! but before that yes mine also blew on the drivers side more than passenger side
  13. theres a road near me that has a sign saying dual carriageway but is a 30 (with no signs)... try that one for size!
  14. forgot to post, got mine a while back but havn't had the chance (or a clean car) to put them in yet
  15. nah cus i'd be late for that! im always late. this week was some east riding vag meet, then went for dinner and totally forgot. other week i was in london... seems like i never do anything but im always busy :?
  16. and i arrived 5 minutes late yet again :( i can pretty much assume i've lost this tournament
  17. currently trying to get myself round to giving it a good clean, snow foam came yesterday :D yesterday did thermostat because my car wasn't getting up to temp quick enough, although seemed like a good thing because it never overheated just meant it was freezing all the way to work every morning
  18. i was under the impression that the cheapest ones fit and are of decent quality.
  19. dubpower do a set for £35, got told they were pretty good.
  20. my fli rca leads have a 90degree bend in them, sorry can't tell you where i got them from though but gives you an idea of what to look for.
  21. that reminds me of this photoshop I did and took the grille from an old mk2 escort, my sister had the audi 80 grill on her old mk3 polo, actually looked really good oh and i fear this may result in my death but...
  22. think he got it out of an r32 but fairly sure you can get them from audi's as well. obviously optional extra's but i've seen a few on ebay
  23. take the HT leads off, spray them with WD40 and plug them back on. mine did something similar, did that and it was fine. something to try anyway
