Thought i'd put a positive post about a corrado and their problems for once seeing as im soo utterly paranoid about everything breaking after my first corrado was such a nightmare. Well last night i was parking up when i saw my girlfriend walk past, so went to push the windows down... nothing, both lights were out on the buttons as well so i thought ahh bugger, its going to be something expensive, water has probably got in through the windows and short something and it will be discontinued and expensive to find. So i didn't have chance to look for the problem so i thought a quick browse or corrado forum may help before i tackle the problem, a few people mentionned reverse lights stop working as well so i thought... hmm fuse, then i thought... can't be as simple as that, it just can't... this is a corrado. this morning, when i was late for work thought i'll quickly check the fuse and :clap: it was!!! another time was driving home from work in the rain and she pops onto 4 cylinders :( so i got home and after a chat with my mate, he suggests taking the HT leads off, spraying them with wd40, cleaning them and putting them back on. hey ho presto, works like a dream!!! touch wood, that is now 3 months of trouble free motoring, im soo glad i was such an idiot and bought another corrado after my nightmare first one. anyone else had similar experience with a corrado, big problem with a quick and cheap fix?

Yea, i found that. i seemed to be getting penalties with almost everylap and if you watch the guy that set the fastest lap he actually jumps clean over the corner with no penalty!! what time has everyone set so far?

that was literally a few seconds after we had finished putting the engine back in. one of the best feelings in the world!!! also one of the one things i never ever want to do again, putting a full VR6 engine and box in without a crane

sorry i don't know which way the sensors go but i do have a pic. blue goes to the left side (looking from the front to the rear of the car) and yellow on the right. you will know if its wrong straight away because the oil pressure light will start flashing like a madman straight away. can upload the pic if you want?

Is the heater not getting hot at all? try getting the engine nice and warm and then see if the pipes at the back of the engine bay leading to the matrix are warm, quite often they can get air locked and will keep the car nice and cold :(

you have a set 'kicking about'!!?? i wish i had a set kicking about, you can give me them and ill have them kicking about on my corrado if you want? but yes, i got told they need adapters, even when using them on 5x112, which seems a bit daft to be honest.

EH??!! :confused4: sore thumb comes to mind. only reason is because people can't afford them and those that can are man enough to buy a 911

sorry to hijack this thread, but would the blue temp sensor cause the car to run stupid mpg when warming up? the car runs fine and everything but mfa says its doing in the region of 5-10mpg until it starts getting warm which i know isn't a good indicator but its probably about right. im getting 50 miles to a tenner at the moment

looking at the ra's, they don't have the centre caps, unless its a variation but knowing bbs they will just have created a totally different name for them. theres 1 rim on ebay for £35 but doesn't say what it is, just bbs cross spoke

look like bbs ra's, don't they come standard on some g60's but in 4 stud?

haha, thats awesome. i was soo close to keeping it straight then it started to tip so only thing i could do was turn out of it
