  1. excuse mr mr coullstar but why are you on the net when you should be out in the freezing cold putting your wheels on and getting us pictures :D
  2. like i said dukest, i did have it set higher but the suspension has settled and dropped edit, how it should look and in my opinion could do to go up a slight bit more on the back:
  3. I live part town/part countryside so i get worst of both worlds... bumpy roads and speed bumps. have no trouble with either. there WAS a bracket on my exhaust that has now bent and mangled from those stupid speed bumps that are thin enough to get wheels either side but i tend to go round them. *touch wood* i've only bottomed my sump out once and that was driving down a road i didn't know over a little humped bridge
  4. can't wait to see it, just tried to copy it on forza so i can see what they look like because im impatient. for some reason forza gave them a dish inwards so im still waiting for pictures lol!!!
  5. mine... needs a slight tweek as it has dropped a little since fitting but i think it sits quite nice.
  6. I did mine in a very technical manner, drop it as low as it went then lifted it so the tyres sat in line with the arch. sits perfect and where i live the roads are shocking (countryside) and i've only hit my sump once *touch wood*
  7. well mine is 9 inches.... around... think about it
  8. beat me to it, was wondering if they were going to use corrado wing mirrors again
  9. if it has yellow wires coming from it i think its something to do with the dipped headlights when you take your key out the ignition. i disconnected mine, as far as i know its a stupid thing that rather than letting your sidelights come on when the key is out it keeps your dipped on at low light which flattens the battery quicker. at least thats what i think it is lol
  10. i have found i have nothing to prove in my car. i've had a couple of people try and race me and i've put my foot down and left it in 5th at about 30-40 and had no problems keeping up. if i wanted to leave them i'd drop it a gear but these days it really isn't worth racing someone you know is slower because its soo easy to lose your license.
  11. try gwerks, not sure if they still have that 'back to the eighties' pricing still on
  12. you need 2 mk1 audi TT drivers side wiper arms and blades
  13. ooh i forgot it was pancake day, screw the exercise im gonna get me some heart blockingly fatty pancakes!!!
  14. i might join in if weather is bad, was hoping to get out for some well needed exercise on the bike tonight!
  15. im not having a dig at it or anything, i love every touch vick has done to it. i love the handles and thought jay might have done it in the first place and i like the colour coded interior and the seats are stunning. Vick has continued lifting the bar with the mods, things like the spoiler smoothing are a marmite mod to some corrado owners but its a nice touch but for such an original car i was just a little shocked to see BBS's on it
  16. im going to be honest here and await flaming, i love the car, its an amazing car but im a little disappointed to see BBS's on such an original minded modified car. They look good but then again most bbs's do but i liked how everything was out of the box thinking.
  17. absolutely stunning!!! always been a fan of your car and you never seem to disapoint. can't wait to see it with the wheels and everything together! was gutted i just missed you at vw festival, saw you as you were leaving! really wanted to have a good poke around your car.

    288 v 312

thats my thinking as well but i had wondered if you can use the 305mm brembo's from an ibiza (not sure which one) and find some 5x100 discs to fit. Im pretty sure bally is running brembo's under his 16s but he has 4stud

    288 v 312

323mm i think from a seat leon cupra r off the top of my head. glad to hear people speaking about the 288's, i've been considering uprating for a while. its that decision between 288's and wilwoods/brembo or similar with the additional cost of adapters etc that are worrying.
  20. glad to hear it! been watchin this topic hoping it would get there! its the best feeling in the world turning it over and firing it up!
  21. In Honda's. Which surely only presents any potential issue if it needs to go off. no that is actually quite amusing, they are just randomly going off! well not amusing in the a way i would be laughing at peoples misfortunes or any injured but in my mind in the cartoon form
  22. perhaps but how long will it take them to recover? thats a thought, how many people in toyota's do you reckon will get a speed ticket and claim the accelerator pedal was stuck lol... then again how many people in stupid prius will be able to break the speed limit lol
  23. Totally agree with everything you say kev, the press seem to point the public in the direction of a skandal for the sake of a extra sales. Now all these idiot people will assume that because these new toyota's are so 'unsafe' that all toyota's over the years will be unsafe. its totally ridiculous and for the sake of a quick story, toyota who have made an enormous effort to ensure safety with all cars, the press are going to make a huge hit to toyota's sales.
