  1. Just on the tunnel side. The carpet should extend up to the edge of the other side.
  2. It's all about the dash. Tres bon.
  3. Maybe some sticky backed foam (something like mousemat foam may be of use). As I would imagine these are nigh on impossible to buy on their own ? In the mean time, any chance I can get a copy of those instructions ?

    Interesting

I agree. originality all the way. I know that automatics seem to get painted with the "not a proper sports car' brush, but when you've got that level of tuning under the hood, who cares. Not I for one. On a side note. The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed the similarity between the Nothelle cars registration (K25 EUC) and my VR6 (K95 EUC). This is because they both came from the same dealer (Scotts of Sloane Square). I read in an article once, that the Sloane square garage was the official outlet for VW UK's Nothelle breathed on conversions. Judging by the conversions they've retailed before, it may have a little truth to the tale. I thought it was in the sales catalogue I found a while ago, sadly it wasn't, but you get the idea of the kind of automotive delights Scotts had at their disposal: http://the-corrado.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=42166&d=1296922256 Anyway, back on topic. I'd like to see more pictures of this as well. Because if this looks as good as it reads, it could be a little belter !

    Interesting

Funnily enough, I saw this and thought of you.
  6. £27 from VAG. Worth doing. Welcome along. Pictures soon as you can please.
  7. You should be able to hear the fuel pump prime when you switch the ignition on. If you don't, my first port of call would be the fuel pump relay (67 or 167). Take it out and give it a tap. Clean the contacts and re-install it. It worked for me once.
  8. Seeing as Fridays are a non starter for me, I'll be going on the Sunday next year (if at all), as the crowds put me off. On the plus side, the stand position in proximity to the Dream rides did seem to generate a large amount of footfall. Sorry I had to cut and run, but it took that long to get round everything, I only had a small slice of time to round the day off at Chez Corrado stand. 25 years next year. Let the celebration planning commence.

    OE mud flaps

Nope, still not found any. Trying to work out what else fitted became more than a little confusing. that's about where my story ends. Let me know if you have any better luck.
  10. That's exactly what I thought. http://www.wishfm.net/news/local/police-appeal-for-witnesses-after-wigan-fire/

    Seat belt release

Or clean all the black off it ? As Ollie said, whatever goes on will rub off again.
  14. For some reason these are quite sought after, but not impossible to find. If you get real stuck they were still available from the dealer a few months back. But at about £38 plus your Vodka + Tonic you may want to wait it out.
  15. Have to agree with Jon on this one. I bought a sherry pearl boot, door and wing for the 8v. Parts were as described and we met up on Ikea car park. He was real friendly and I nearly ended up with a Recaro interior as well. It's not the first time I've heard of people having mixed reviews from this seller though.
  16. Cut all the loose rubber stone chip away, grind any rust off, treat the metal then give it a coat of schutz. The OE stuff is £20 from VW, or you can get a small pot of something similar from ebay. I use a brand called Indasa. Due to thickness, you may need a couple of coats. It brushes on easy enough.
  17. I guess everyone has their favourites. I use Gliptone leather conditioner. It works a treat a smells wonderful.
  18. My switch has bust on the way home, so chalk me up for one.
  19. That is a relief. Great news in fact. For a moment I had a distressing vision of you sat in your car one day, turning the window blowers on full tilt and the dashboard starting to inflate like a giant cream baloon ! What I would mention in addition (which you're probably aware of already) is to condition the dash regularly. And if left in the sun for long periods, maybe cover it with some sort of dashboard topper. All this is based on personal experience as when I got my Corrado, the leather had contracted about an inch and distorted the dash. This should have been done from the factory. It looks that good. Bravo !
  20. This has to be the best OEM upgrade I've seen all year. Berrrrilllianttt !!! A real piece of craftsmanship. Post up the details of who did this. Their names should be echoed from the roof tops... My only critique, the holes that were covered up are for heating/de-misting the screen. I know it's not what you want to hear, but seriously take the dash out and have them opened up. Sorry for my post being a real sweet and sour one.
  21. Love the dash. For me, this is the only thing missing from the interior. Under trays will look good as well.
  22. Longer than I thought. 2007 I joined, just after I was made redundant. But I waited two years before re-installing myself into a Corrado. Fast forward another two years and there's another on the drive. This forum and it's over enthusiasm of anything Corrado really does have a lot to answer for.
  23. On a warm Tuesday morning, sometime around half ten. But seriously. Four and a half bags of sand for it with 144k on the clock. Really ?
