if there are no removable spiggot rings you could get them machined out the measurement is 57.1mm centre bore
-
acceleration smoke is a lot worse thats more than likely bore wear (rings etc) , it sounds like your using a lot more oil than specified i think theres about a litre of oil between min and max , but i dont mind being corrected.
-
i would not file it you need this to be accurate otherwise you might get wheel wobble because you have a certain amount of play in wheel studs and the holes in the wheels are not diameter exact so the spigots hold the wheel in place but its upto you . just a thought most after market wheels inc tsw s have removable spiggots but they are plastic some are alluminium so you would have noticed

just see how much oil your using ,over 3k on mine since i noticed the wisp of blue one day and not a drop of oil needed so what do you do , i say nothing have you decat your car as you will notice a little smoke after that as the cat gets so hot it gets rid of the wisp of oil before its gets to the tail pipe , and to be honest i tiny bit of oil in the top of the bores wont do any harm to the top of the bores anyway , but until your using loads of oil why bother , as stated in the owners manual "every engine uses a certain amount of oil , the oil consumption can be upto 1 litre per 1000km" thats a lot of oil but its really upto you , they are old cars at the end of the day so there has to be a little give :)

oh crap i bought the vw one 76 pound later :(

hi yeah i go over it with a fine tooth comb , only thing i find is you have to keep checking yourself because if your like me havin a lift to hand you spot things and do them immediately so when it comes to test you know your own car really well , but with other peoples you dont know what to excpect , if that makes any sense :)

-
sounds like a switch problem to me disconect it and if they go off problem solved then buy a new switch , and check the loom while your there just to make sure the small earth wire is fine .
-
hi have you try d swapping the high and low pressure switch wires round , as if there on the wrong may the buzzer may go off ,just a thought if not you need to do a oil pressure check to see if its low or is just an electrical glitch, the low pressure warning buzzer only goes off if the engines pressure is below 2 bar @ 2000k and above.

For anybody that has ever sworn at a hose clamp...

theres nowt wrong with draper if you buy draper expert , the clip tool is great and the pliers you can get are too Actually there is a lot wrong with the Draper expert range, I use them at work, the ratchets are bloody awful, things snap far too easily and the air tools are very nasty indeed - so overall I am not impressed. I would get a set of those pliers for home use mind as they wont be put through as much use as the stuff at work. well air tools i dont use theres i use CP and all my ratchets are britool , do like there vortex sockets and extensions and there torx and spline drives dont really snap any quicker than anyone elses for the money , so i will rephrase not all of there range is naff just 50% of it :) -
pick the colour if i can have any of them in the pics :notworthy:

no mate not too bad i wouldnt rush to the bank for a loan :)
