Anyone know what these air-hose connector are called?
MattPc replied to Mawrick's topic in Off-topic Chat
Looks like a compression fitting. Take that pic and some measurements to a local Pneumatic's or hydraulic's supplier to get an exact match, as there are quite a few designs and sizes. -
Don't worry about that wire, it is not used on the UK models. just tuck it away.

Rams, When on the rollers next week, keep an eye on the flexible inlet pipe running across the front, if it starts to 'shorten' under acceleration, your'll be creating a flow restriction. If it doesn't then your ok. just something to bear in mind to extract the most performance from your charger. Matt

to confirm if you initial thaughts are correct, if you look inside your boot, stuck to the either the inner plastic trim just below the boot latch or under the carpet next to the spare wheel will be a sticker with a paint code on. Or there is an orange sticker tucked behind the airbox on the inner wing also with the paint code. Matt

Just had a look on ETKA, the number clintg60-*16v posted was replaced in 1998 with 1J0 972 752, best to take both numbers in to the dealer when you order just incase, may save some time. Matt

What size tyres are you running and your shift rpm, you may get away with just change the ring and pinion gear to use 3rd instead of 2nd

Just curious as to why you're wanting to make 1st and 2nd longer?

Good looking corrado you have there, some cars look good with the sunroof ajar.

My car was fitted with a new set of elements 6 years ago, VW had a list of upholsters they used for interior repairs and ceased production parts. They were'nt too expensive either. Have you asked your local dealer? Matt
