  1. I borrowed my dad's Nissan Pathfinder at the weekend, massive thing but it still shifts once you get it going - didn't notice it turning into any kind of animal though, I mustn't have found the button to do that. Thanks a bunch! you belong in a zoo!
  2. that's not going to do the show many favours, a lot of people already avoid it due to the type of 'enthusiast' it attracts and that just tops things off. What sensible person is going to take their pride and joy down there next year if that kind of thing can happen in broad daylight when there are supposed to be security personnel around? someone somewhere much have seen something, I could imagine you not challenging a group of lads stripping a car if you saw them at it - I'd certainly not take them on - but you'd at least tell security (if you could find them!) and you'd surely remember seeing it happening and come forward if you saw a thread on a forum about it?
  3. when i saw the 'before' shots I was thinking there wasn't much wrong with it but when you compare it to the 'after' photos you can see a big difference, good work mate!
  4. not sure on the airbrushing of the jason plato look-a-like, otherwise its a cracking looking motor!

    RH Alloys

they should do - bigger alloy but lower profile tyre, so the same overall radius pretty much, its the width and offset combinations that might cause problems. there's bound to be someone with experience of 17x8 et35's on a 4 stud on here though
  6. no-one dewipered the rear yet? should be a damn sight easier than doing the real thing! *yank* done!

ZW1's look amazing on the corrado - no two ways about it! Have a look at Cheesewire's members gallery thread, he had some for a while. I'd like to see your 'C' on ZW1's with black centers, that'd look so good. I had RH AG cups on my VR and with et32 they sat (i think!) perfectly in the arches. Looking at your signature picture you've got a 4-stud? The standard ET's are different but I think generally you're safe with et35. I ran 205/40/17's on mine and you're right, its a very very slight stretch on an 8" rim, but it helps with arch clearance. Mine scrubbed slightly if I took a corner too fast but nothing major.
  8. two in the dash mate, the centre grille is just for show (possibly some sort of vent?) what size are the mids? they look like they might be a bit small to replace the stock ones
  9. dont discount the valvers as the 'lesser' engine either, my 1.8 16v was just as much fun to drive as my VR - probably more so in some respects - just not as fast. VR power is lazy but formidable, I found the valver was a bit more fun to rag about TBH!
  10. looks nice mate, it'll look a damn sight better on the RC's and lowered though! how are you enjoying it compared to the mk2's?
  11. makes a change from coming back to find a fresh trolly dent, although I think I'd prefer that to clearing up someone elses 'love'
  12. I think this year bonus points should be awarded for showing some love to someone else's corrado - without their knowledge! Corrado bigamy!
  13. a hair over 5 seconds for the 1/4 mile and a TV of 135? that's amazing!
  14. sounds like a site about something ENTIRELY different
  15. yeah it was me, but i really fancy a mk2 next and that oak green one looks very tidy for its age, just came up too early for me to get the funds. I'd love to take that VR off your hands but the insurance is highly prohibitive with zero no claims!
  16. i was going to say that too! leave them like that mate, its different and looks really good!
  17. personally I like clear regardless of the body-colour so it looks a bit more OEM+ than the smoked ones.
  18. halfarts mate, about £12!
  19. I like that! I think maybe they could do with sitting a little further out of the arch, but thats just to suit my tastes :) get those side repeaters sorted out!
  20. bonkers! I wonder if it'll be as quick as you'd expect? its got to be a stupidly heavy engine...
  21. IIRC they're pre-shaped. I think the fitment is reasonably easy, its the bleeding and setting up of the brakes once the jobs complete that might take time and incur cost, I'd not like to guess how much though!
  22. you dont hang about do you JIMMI! 2 or 3 weeks from conception to completion is bloody impressive going - you should go in to business ;)
  23. totally unrelated and OT but I once saw 150deg on the a1 while trying to keep up with two of the local supercharged-VR6 contingent!
