  1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I have the boost return pipe you need Troy. Give me a call to sort details. Glad you are pleased with your JMR S4 charger rebuild. Best regards, John.
  2. Guys I think Steve has overlooked closure on this thread. He now has a 2litre 16V engine sorted. Good luck with sales on your respective engines. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Proper diagnostic required this time then to avoid further unecesary expense. It is entirely likely that your problem is fueling related still. Check the wiring for wire break making intermittent contact, or high resistance joint. Check the fuel pump relay and the continuity of electrical supply to the pump system from source to component. Don't forget the in-tank fuel lift pump. Be thorough, start at the fuse plate and work back toward the pumps. This way you will find a fault if it is there. Reactive, random part replacement is just lucky dip diagnostics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hi Troy, I think I can help you here but will Need to check my stock in the workshop tommorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Dealer items are the best to have from my experience. So if you are not prepared to pay for quality parts, it's a somewhat pointless task asking that which you will allready know from having fitted poor quality pattern items previously. Dealer items will last for many years, pattern dross only months, it's a no brainer! Dealer parts are cheap, in repect to service life. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hi Adam, Ok am good to go on this, but unfortunately for you I live in West Sussex, but am happy to post this to you. Owing to the bank holiday weekend I won't be able to post until Tuesday next week. If you are ok with this, payment by bank transfer would be good. Let me know what you would like to happen from here. Best regards, John. JMR Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Gearbox capacity 2 litres. Funnel and tube to refil is a must for ease and simplicity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I have a door handle for your VR6. It is the late style handle with the eased lip around the lock barrel, as will be OEM on your Corrado. £35 plus p&p. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Every dealer I have ever spoken to or worked for in the past would throw their hands in the air with despair at Corrado ABS brake bleeding! when I was at dealer I got the rotten job. I have had these systems bleed out perfectly post works, but there are allways the troublesome types with which you have to persist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Bleed the brakes as you have described but don't forget to bleed the brake master cylinder as well as you progress through the system. ABS cars are infamous for there probs with achieving a good pedal post works of this nature. Using a good quality pressure bleeder can help, but sometimes despite the secondary problems it can cause the old manual bleed technique sometimes cracks the issue. Once you are sure the air is bled out, whatever pedal state you have will Improve over the course of a weeks use. Clearly you will need to test drive the car before release to ensure it is safe, long pedal travel and spongy feel are not uncommon, but as I say this will typically improve with use and return to normal after a week. Hope this helps you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have a distributor from a 9a 16V which is in good working order £30 plus p&p £11 for DHL next day service. But before you spend out again are you sure you have connected the HT leads correctly and set the static and dynamic timing to specification? GSF parts are often the subject of individuals frustration, in fairness however, this part you have bought if fitted correctly should be ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Nothing to do with your car being a Storm or OBD2. It is quite simply down to the fact that the VR6 ABV engine was fitted with two types of oil filter, which are not interchangeable, as the plastic housings are different into which the filter fits. Typically the correct filter will be designate by chassis number. However over time I have noted that there is no definitive certainty in this matter, as individuals have made changes, or the factory have seen fit to do so. If you have the wrong item you need to return it and request the alternative that will be listed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The sensor needs to be placed where it can sample gasses from all the cylinders, but as close to the engine as can be possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Absolutely fab morning had by all attending this Southern Area meet, kindly organised by Ron, at the Historic Brooklands circuit. We were warmly greeted by the Brooklands staff, and made to feel very welcome. The Corrado turnout was great, and we made quite an impressive display. We could not have hoped for better weather, which made the early start all the more worthwhile. The breakfast was very well received and served In the Clubhouse Cafe, very full English! After we were able to tour the exhibits both motoring and aviation before 1130 depart home in time for lunch and medals. All that is left of the Brooklands Historic Circuit. We made the prerequisit pilgrimage up the near vertical banked corner, where once supreme endurance racers like the Napier Railton thundered around at awesome speed. Found some pretty impressive axle stands! Barnes-Wallace's bouncing bomb of Dambusters fame. Some Merlin powered majic. Wellington bomber under reconstuction post recovery from the bottom of Loch Ness back in 1985. Will leave the Corrado pics for others to post up. Well done Ron, and thanks to all the guys who went to making this a great Sothern area Corrado Club Meet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. How much delivered to Unit 15, BN17 7QU? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. On a recent run up to the Stanford Hall meet I was taking it steady trailing my friend in his Audi A4 at a leisurely 70 mph, over the 3 hour journey I recorded an overall 44 mpg! In a 2L 16VG60!! I was astonished. With reflection I put this figure largely down to the CTN diesel tall gears now on the car(under 2000rpm @ 70mph), the off boost cruising, and my mates "conservative" driving style. Previously, before the CTN box I was getting at best 25mpg. Still not sure about the actual accuracy of this amazing result but am going to keep a record of mileage and fuel used to work out a control average. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks for your replies, could I ask you both if you could check these door pulls you have for condition. The presence of scratches will often not show on photos, so I will trust to your inspection of these parts. I look forward to hearing from you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I need a pair of late style interior door pull handles in black. Complete units required, ideally with all parts including electric window switches, mirror adjustment switch and handle fixing screws. The plastic handles need to be in top condition not covered in scratches please.
  19. The meet point detail for you Ron and others is Manor Weald Service Station on the A283 Milford, post code GU8 5 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. The meet point detail you require Ron and indeed others wanting to meet here, is Manor Weald Service station on A283, post code GU8 5. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I will see if I can aquire it tommorrow Ron and post it on here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Any of you guys going to the Brooklands meet happen to have a pair of late interior door pulls in very good condition no scratches etc, that you want to sell / bring with you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Ron, I will meet up with you at Milford, did you have specific location in mind? There is a BP fuel station about half a mile from the A3 heading in towards Milford this could be a good meet point as the roads immediately off the A3 are a touch busy and unsuited to safe waiting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I am travelling up from Rustington West Sussex. I will be taking a route through Petworth, Chidingdold on to Milford, then A3 etc if any of you guys are wanting to meet up along the way. We could use Milford as a meet point just off the A3 which would collect some of you travelling from Hampshire. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Sounds like a conversation to be had while mooching around exhibits or tucking into full English breakfast Jamie :-)
