Not Corrado related I know, but knowing that alot of us have interest across a broad range of VAG product, I thought I would ask if any of you know the whereabouts of an available kit of parts to convert my B6 A4 Quattro. Any information greatly appreciated, contact John on 07974020031. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you don't get lucky with a used set up, which I would think is quite likely. Give me a call at the workshop on Tuesday as the 280mm rear brake conversion is a JMR in house conversion speciality. 01903718684. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, John. Hi Stonejag, we met at the Bealieu meet recently. I am about to upgrade the front brakes on my Audi A4 Quattro Sport, which is currently fitted with 288's. These are in very good condition and painted silver. I can supply you with callipers and carriers to suit. If you are interested give me a call Tommorrow at the workshop. Thanks for the shout Rustynuts, allways appreciated. As part of our VAG specialist services, we have been carrying out charger rebuilds and porting since the early 90's, so indeed would be happy to advise and complete works as required for those interested. We are closed for a break now until our return on 31st October. Will be happy to talk with you at this time. Our contact number is 01903 718684. I look forward to hearing from you. LHD Corrados had their reactive spoilers raise at 75mph. All UK RHD cars were changed to raise at lower speed because if not, you could have been knicked by the Old Bill by default for having your spoiler raised and ergo breaking the UK max 70mph speed limit! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All sorted now, pump no longer required. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I urgently require an ABS pump for a late VR6 Corrado, equipped with EDL (Traction Control). The part number required is 1H2 614 217A. The unit I seek needs to be in good working order, having been tested on VAG Com or simillar to ensure no fault codes are being generated by it. I am happy to pay for 24 hour delivery service as per Parcel2Go. Please contact me on 07974020031.

Thanks for the quick responses on my request. Could I ask both of you what the total would be with postage, or are you local to my location In West Sussex? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I require a front bumper which can be off early or late Corrado. I don't need the metal bumper iron or mounts, just the plastic cover. The internal side plastic brackets, that slide over the "cotton Reel" mounts, need to be in good order as does the plastic internal mounting for the bumper iron. the outer plastic cover can be any colour you have and as rough as it comes. I intend to utilise the internally bonded in mounting parts to equip another bumper. Don't want to therefore spend a fortune on a "minter". Please contact me on 07974020031.

Hi Chris I have the sunroof cassette from my Corrado G60 which I rebuilt with all new genuine parts and stored away now as I fitted a carbon roof panel in the end. The roof is complete and in full working order with motor. I want £95 plus p&p or collect in West Sussex. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi Neal, you can use a MK3 Golf VR6 AAA subframe if you can not find a good Corrado unit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dealer has now deleted the Corrado VR6 radiator. So if you want new, which I would strongly recommend, then you will need to buy top quality aftermarket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don't buy pattern parts firstly, the rear bushes need to be genuine parts to ensure quality and longevity. As for your fuel pipes, you don't say what Corrado yours is. Typically all Corrados other than the Valvers have very simple plastic fuel pipes which don't typically have MOT issues. The 16v Corrados use a more elaborate arrangement for the k jet system and these do have issues with corrosion and cracked pump housings. Replacement of these pipes can become very expensive and sometimes difficult due to unions being seized involving renewal of the component they are fitted to, ie pump or accumulator, and parts are now deleted from dealer stock. Best choice if you are staying with oem parts is to use later MK4 golf callipers with conversion hoses to allow for different banjo bolt fitting to callipers. You could consider an uprgrade as well by transplanting the vented rears and callipers from V6 4 Mo or TT 225 etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Something very bad happened - urgent help needed please
16VG60 replied to harin's topic in Engine Bay
Ok not good but it does sound like the car is useable. If you are sure that the electrode is still retained by the outer casing and it can not drop into the cylinder then you are ok for now. These glow plugs are well doccumented as a problem part to change due to disimillar metals corrosion between steel glow plug body and alloy cylinder head. The partially installed plug is going to have to be professionally removed asap, and the car should only be used as little as possible in this time. The danger is if the electrode falls into the cylinder it will smash the piston crown and bend the valves. Not wanting to depress you any more but I have seen this happen many times on the PD diesels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Very enjoyable day out, not quite classic Stonor, as the weather was ok but not the sun bathed Park we have come to expect. Thankfully we only experienced very light rain. The Club stand had a very full showing, and was great to meet you all and trade stories. Thanks to all those who organized the stand, Eric Dave Kip, the Corrado numbers may be in decline but we made a good show for all to enjoy. Personally I had a profitable day too, as the Caddy full of mainly Corrado parts sold well. The journey home however was a farce!! The diversion round Henley town centre took us down every road in the place! When finally out of Henley the motorway was littered with accidents, roadworks and the inevitable grid lock. Thanks Charlie, not either of our top ten drives, but good to however to have a quality wingman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Would be there if it were not for a clash with my annual pilgrimage to Stonor Park show. Goodwood allways puts on a great show, and this Sundays theme has alot of promise. Hope you enjoy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
