Why don't you just put it back on the road and use it? Its been for sale for so long maybe that's what putting people off? If it was mine I'd sell the wheels and interior and retro fit speedos and cloth, standard grill, rear lights and ditch the tinted number plates and relist as a wolf in sheeps clothing etc No offence meant:)

There's loads of these knocking about should you break yours. The screws under the spoiler (2 each side) often seize and there captive nuts turn in there housings, douse the nuts with penetrating oil before you commence removal and allow it to soak in If you remove the inside boot cover you'll find a black bow tie shaped piece of plastic, pull it towards you and it dislocates from the motor spindle, turn it and it raises and lowers the spoiler, you can then see if the motor is weak or the mechanism binding. I thought there was a wiki on this but I can't find it?

I once changed a column on a Volvo 740 due to the horn constantly going off due to the previous owner abusing the column and then disconnecting the horn due to its poor behaviour. I reconnected the wire for the MOT and rather chuffed with myself set off for a retest only for the horn to sound on every bend in the road...... After I swapped the column I read the Haynes manual and found a measurement to set the length of the column, I suspect a similar measurement is available for the Corrado?

92 Corrado G60, breaking complete car everything available.

Hennys 1990 H had late wings and bonnet, the wings were stuck to the inner wings with sealant and I could find no signs of previous removal of early wings. Early dash too and the interior he sold prior to me buying the shell was early also. -

Wheel refurb - south coast/home counties area
Dox replied to scarlet_vr6's topic in Group Buy Feelers
Just talking generally about powder coating wheels, if you don't get them clear coated over the silver and you use wheel cleaner or solvents the silver alloy flakes in the powder coat will tarnish and go dull. -
Do you have equal amounts of lock left and right from centre? Turn to the left put a bit of masking tape on the steering wheel at 12 oclock with L on it. Turn to the right and do the same with an R on the tape. Back to the centre, have you got too much lock one side?
-
Any signs of the tyre catching on anything? Wishbone bushes ok? Find yourself an empty car park and drive on full lock until it knocks, then take a small amount of lock off - does it still knock?
-
Is the noise on full lock and moving forward or when stationary going lock to lock?

My autel 509? wont connect to the corrado either, it does all my newer vag stuff

I've got the complete setup, pump, pipework, rack reservoir, U/J and column, but can't guarantee any of it because I've not used it myself, but I'd rather sell it complete.

Arrived today, thank you:)

Gets my vote too, 1/4 litre for cleaning and another 1/4 for a rinse = 70p

If the slave has failed hydraulically it will leak fluid externally (on the floor?)
-
Whats wrong with the clutch? If its hydraulic failure the master will allow fluid to return to the reservoir (the clutch won't clear the flywheel), the slave will leak fluid onto the floor. I presume you've tried bleeding it?

I saw a mini 850 rebuilt as a 998 cooper last year at auction sell for £27k
-
You should do what you like with it. If you regard it as a future investment then I'd don't stray too far from factory spec or do anything that can't be reversed easily and don't sell off standard parts if you do mod it. Period mods won't put off a purist, but Halfords wheels will. Before and after pics of work done will help when you come to sell it so a build thread is a good idea. Enjoy the car while you still can:)

Very nice, so is that worth £15K?

Anyone else here have a factory stock g60?
