Is this the engine that suffers oil pump drive failure because it drives balance shafts off the same drive? 1.9s run the oil pump at half engine speed, 2L drives the pump and balance shafts at twice engine speed using the same 6mm hex drive and the corners simply wear away?

You could fit the lowering top spring cups to get another 15mm closer to the ground if you decide it needs it after the springs have settled? I've seen this car in the flesh, very nice indeed :)

Paint on the rear face of the wheel where it meets the hub or the hub where it meets the wheel will crush and the bolts come loose. Wrong wheel bolts - taper bolts on a conical seat wheel (or vise versa) - the bolts wont have enough surface area on there seating, the alloy will crush and the bolts come loose. Most tyre places will either tell you or advise on the invoice to check wheel bolts after 100 - 200 miles or so, plenty do them up so tight you need a scaffold pole to get them off leaving you stranded if you get a puncture and only have a standard brace..... This really ****es me off!

I'd go for a temp gauge, you could use several senders via a dash mounted switch and monitor sump temp (via a sump plug mounted sender) filter housing temp, coolant temp etc These cars are getting old, dashes erratic at times and wiring going high resistence - from your sig pic it looks like you do the odd track day?

Its a volt meter and oil pressure gauge (not ammeter and oil pressure). Second hand ones crop up on here every few months or so, put a wanted advert on the forum for one?

Can anyone recommend a 4+ camera CCTV set up for home use or any advice in general? I'm thinking night vision cameras with 2 cameras to cover the front of the house / cars, 1 to cover the rear and another to cover the garden / or inside the living room to see what the dogs get up to when we're out.... Ta

Engine loom, believed complete but scruffy needs rewrapping really In the box is the rear part of the shells loom, incomplete (bits cut off) may be of use for spares?

To be clear, I don't want to sell the coilpack as its ideal for sorting situations like you're having, when it drops on to 4 cyls temporarily fit the spare coil before swapping back to confirm. Good luck with it :)

Coils do tend to breakdown when hot. I have a spare that ST4stokie borrowed to confirm his was faulty, you're welcome to try it too, you're not a million miles from Crewe and will pass if you're heading for Stanford tomorrow?
