Phat.. well said...:D
-
Gave you a 10 dude... Think the Capri owners club has found this too....
-
Some of the old escorts are pretty cool.... Anything with a lax flower kit gets a 1..... And I'm still waiting for my car to turn up on there..
-
Go to the site map on it and take a look at all the most recently submitted cars....
-
Saw one of these on Sunday... awesome machine!

I believe there should be a CCGB constitution somewhere that defines all of this... (appointing and dissolution of posts, election etc..)
-
If this was a company.. they would be getting paid for what they do. They are not. The committee are elected.. I am prepared to believe they are doing things to turn this around form the position 2 years ago.. and they are all unpaid volunteers who also have bills to pay and jobs to hold down.... Anyone who has ever held an active committee position on something like this will know the amount of effort required (in their own spare time) to do this, and needs support and help from others.. Give them a chance to turn things around and support them, whether through putting forward content for Sprinter or giving a hand in organising events. I feel some form of electronic avenue (eg via section which Andi has kindly offered) would be invaluable as a means of communication..however my only note of caution on this is that I suspect a number of CCGB members may not have regular access to the internet, and any such move should complement non-electronic comms channels and not replace these channels, else we run the risk that the non-net enabled users end up feeling like '2nd class members'. I guess this is on the AGM agenda. RW1: I will be renewing mine at the AGM

In which case any statements should come from people who are in full possession of the facts and not possession of just some (or think they know some) of the facts..... I suspect the first people who should be informed of any more news should be the club members.. before it is aired on a public forum. I thought the whole thing had been laid to bed at last years AGM, however I do not consider myself sufficiently in the know to put something up without risk of misrepresenting the facts... We do not need potentially incorrect rumours or misrepresentation to start flying a round here since it will if anything further damage relations between the forum and the club.. which I think is something we could all do without. Though I do agree that club communications havn't been the best over the past year, I feel that any statements made on here should come from an official club source. I'm not having a dig at anyone on here, I just feel that if this is going to come up again then the club should be given the opportunity to have its say Edit: Fixed your quoting for you - try the Quote buttons next time --Andi

The forum for talking about this is in the AGM,..not on a public notice board..

Gran Turismo 4 - what do you think of it?
HiAsAKite replied to Bojmobile's topic in General Car Chat
Just done the 1000 mile race series......total of 12 hours done over two days, B-spec is so incredibly useful!.. plus you can also save half way through the race series (eg after 1 or 2 races) and continue the next time you play it.. Thought I should have won a better car for completing it thought ('63 alfa)..was hoping for some classic race car or something.. -
I agree there has been a communication problem.. however the day at Longleat last year was good fun... At the end of the day, the club committee are all unpaid volunteers doing this in their own time....Rather than bash them offer to help, that way CCGB can do more for its members

23%... doing the 1000 mile races as we speak :) -
yeah.. but I think the point is that depending on how the cars been treated.. they may not need doing Budget for it.. but I wouldn't go out and do the job just for the sake of doing it unless you gonna have the box off anyway
-
I vote for A followed by E... and I'm not convinced about the carbon effect bonnet... either get a carbon bonnet, or don't.. but making it look like its got one when it hasn't in my mind is what the lax flower types do.... and you're not one of those.. But its your car at the end of the day so..
-
hey.. it just means ours command a premium price for longer... Was at the stealers today.. parked up in the customers parking for a bout 1/2 hour... Every one of their salesman/technicians who went past my car gazed at it wistfully for a good 10-20 second before passing by..
-
I guess you found a way round it for the time being then.. let me know if you need hand replacnig the switch..
-
Check the thread on Corrado pre-viewing and see if someone from here who can go along with you to look at them... Also if there's bubbling above the light cluster then ..quite frankly, unless its really cheap, there's enough examples out there without this.. (or any bubbling for that matter).. ..and yeah, I've not seen one with bubbing there so it may point to a rear end shunt..

What did you guys say interms of justifying your choices?
