Admiral gave me 6 years NCB when I came to insure my Golf with them under a separate policy, even though my VR (insured with them) only had 5 years NCB on it... Net result £850 to insure a VR6 C and Mk2 GTi with protected NCB

For the back, the top font looked best to me.. Not sure about 'VRsix'... is writing VR6 really a copyright problem? -

Buy yourself a cheap sh!tbox for a year and build up your NCB.. you will save huge amount on insurance when you do come to buy yourself something nice and you can plough this into the car... I think you'll find most of us have driven sh!tters at one time or another -
262kph/151mph indicated on the autobahn... felt rock steady... But you do need to use v.v.v.v.gentle steering inputs at that speed..
-
sure we actually saw something like that at Run to the sun last year.. Orange/red fiat about 3ft long driving on the pavement driven/piloted by a pair of aussies... we pissed ourself laughing as it went past

Might have got caught speeding... A3 in Surrey crack down

Automatic Number Plate Recognition.. used to catch drivers with no tax, MOT, insurance, banned drivers, or just cars that they want to stop... Used in the 'ring of steel' round the city of London whereby if a tagged car enters its flagged up and an armed response unit stops it v. quickly... One thing it doesn't so.. is measure your speed -

If the mfa display shows garbage or frozen I believe you can reset it by disconnecting the +ve battery terminal and tapping it 5 times on the +ve contact before reconnecting.. ...works with my mk2 golf

Dark blue J-reg 16v in BP garage in Hitchin on Wednesday.. you were at the pumps behind me... Anyone here? -
Mine are fine too.. ..don't know what discs they are though..
-
Depends who you insure with.. some insurers don't care (eg Admiral).. others do and load your pemium loads.
-
Its probably worth adding that this is typically covered (along with turbine maps) at 2nd year degree level.....
-
I run a LHD Corrado at the moment.. believe me its not a problem.., don't let LHD be the reason you part with your G60.. if you want the Cupra fine.. but don't lose the G60 just cos its a left hooker
-
I seem to recall in the original top gear program where they featured the corrado they said that they had shifted the spoiler raising speed from 73mph=> 45/55 or so for the UK due to the speed limits, but that it has no appreciable effect below 70 anyway... Mine (German spec VR) pops up at 120Kph...
