most limits with couriers is 25kg I would check out palletline and put them on a pallet or for heart attack try TNT
-
But who is the judge of that? why would it be illegal ? if your car has 50k on it and you put a new speedo on it and change it to 50k what fraud has been done ? I just dont understand why you think there would be. if you dont ever sell the car you can put what ever milage on it you want as your not commiting a fraudulant act,ask anyone in the know. edit:Should have read dazzys reply, quite correct. oh you can know 25k off it as well cos nuggets carry the miles 8)
-
its not illegal as theres no fraud being commited

No wonder people get fucked off with the dealers and goto the specialists and you would get as good a job if not better. that quote is a disgrace get them to do an annual service about £100 if you supply oil and filter and get a specialist to do the rest Sod that...

Whats a good price for S/H Mk4 Rear Calipers?
chubbybrown replied to Ice White Socks's topic in Drivetrain
He has a point,Im no expert just they are on and have been so far (touch wood) incredible compared to the old mk2 efforts its funny having a one click handbrake compared to seeing some of the photos of cars for sale with the handbrake rumped right up with me muttering ah it needs new calipers... -

Whats a good price for S/H Mk4 Rear Calipers?
chubbybrown replied to Ice White Socks's topic in Drivetrain
mk4 ones are supposed to be an alloy so you arnt supposed to get the seizeing up the same as mk2/3 ones. I paid £66 each all in and no exchange so the old ones can go back on if cars sold at not the price I want. that was at hawcos vw in Inverness. they have been on a year and faultless. I was advised to fit a new handbrake cable whilst it was all off so did that as well, unsure if I had to fit a mk2 corrado one or not -
No corrado to me is worth 10k no matter what it looks like chubbz

Need to see how the new number looks on the nugget 8) -
as far as I know they only introduced the 2.0 as a cat had to be fitted so they had to go higher in the horses game to overcome the cat. where as a 1.8 dones not have one. Not sure about standard vw lists but my one makes 144bhp with no mods

hasnt even got a dealer front number plate on it and mine still has

Rac windscreen computer lists two types of windscreen with a corrado. One has a green tint on the top of it described as rare to find. The 2nd is the one most cars have, even though I need one, the closest is sitting 200 miles away in Glasgow So not that easy to come by :| so if you wanna be a pain in the ring ask for a green tint one :-D

chubbybrown replied to H8RRA's topic in General Car Chat
Inverness to Bristol then sat and exam and drove back again about 1100 miles also used to do Inverness to Cardiff and drive back again, about 1100 miles Longest without stopping at all was Inverness to Clacton on one tank of juice, roughly 540 miles. I do drive for a living though,so no probs really
