Ok here goes annual check for the 16valve supplying oil and filter from Hawcos Vw Inverness £72 Their hourly rate is £47 per hour. Today went to a specialist, recieved Diesel Golf courtesy car,2 new rear mk4 brake calipers, handcable modified for above, bleed brakes and replace fluid, full service and bill came to £345 Car was complimented and the only thing noted was rear axle bushes wearing due to age. I think the full vw service history will stop as of the last one. Quality over quantity and a nice pretty stamp in the book too. :-) And his name if your stuck in Inverness.. Kennys specialist VW mods please add to Good garage thread Ta !

The Brov in law has a video sender he can broadcast to the whole street :dorky: :norty: anyway we used to get radio 4 if we ran out lots of XLR cable on OB's working for an ILR station,we always used to Joke, it was the original owner of the cable having 'touched' us with thier presence, not that we nicked much when sharing OB's with the Beeb just always was one or two cables that always pulled in a beeb signal with the transmitter being closeish. we couldnt broadcast near a mast who can compete with kw's of power :-) -

HELP - Number plates nicked and alarm had been triggered!!!!
chubbybrown replied to martyjmcfly's topic in General Car Chat
They steal the plates as it saves them going to buy them and therefore no outlay We have a police car up here now ( a X5 ) that reads the number plates when its behind a vehicle and can tell if its taxed or not,on a sorn, not insured directly and it just beeps so the cops pull it. They dont use the PNC anymore this does it all for them. Any chivilrous thief takes the plates off an aston then trys to dodge a congestion charge with a more normal car,I suppose those days are gone. 2p -

HELP - Number plates nicked and alarm had been triggered!!!!
chubbybrown replied to martyjmcfly's topic in General Car Chat
Sorry to hear about the car. A good call reporting it to the jondarmes as being in the south of the country I have heard that people nick number plates so they can avoid the London city centre congestion charge,Try and get a crime number from the cops as it will be handy incase the letters of non payment start appearing on the mat in the morning. sick saddos
