New problem :? Just been out for a run to make sure everything is ok for the trip up to stanford hall and the windows have decided to play up They only want to open when the doors are open, Typical corrado! The missus will winge now if she can`t open her window all the way to stanford hall.. Any clues anyone please?

After spending a small fortune on the valver it still feels vague at high speed :( I have replaced all suspension components front and rear including rear bushes and just fitted new Koni adjustables with new top mounts, The only thing i have not replaced is the anti roll bar bushes ive even Replaced the brakes with G60 calipers and grooved discs! The front just feels light at high speed, Anything aproaching a ton and she tends to wander! I dont normally drive at these speeds but it would be nice to feel planted when you want some illegal fun :nono: Ive even played with tyre pressures ranging from 32 down to 28 which feels better at 28, It has been four wheel aligned too, Its running 17" oz alloys with Toyo proxis and there relatively new , Can`t figure it out maybe its just me after driving a 03 S3 with it being a newer more competent car that is designed to do 150 mph that does`nt give you any feedback :| The corrado So much more alive but just wish i could get it just right!! If anyone has any ideas feel free to mention good or bad, Oh well we will see how she tackles the 3 hour drive to stanford hall, Maybe everything needs bedding in :)

You need to change you aerial. Chances are it will be the original one and will be shot! Ive just replaced mine with a vag one £51.00 with discount :shock: But the reception is fantastic now even with a crappy head unit and it looks all new and shiny :)

No mate, When i got my secondhand 280mm calipers and carriers i thought the same, same 54 on them they looked identical but when you take them off the diference is clear :) the G60 caliper is wider and the carrier bigger..

Mines lowered 40mm with 205/40/17s no problems fouling the arches

Thanks supercharged, I thought i could prob adjust it without stripping it again! Ive dropped it one notch and it doesnt look too bad may settle a bit, The front dropped 5 mm overnight so see what happens! Just took it out now and :shock: Transformed !Well pleased as the saying goes you only get what you pay for

I have received my shiny new koni shocks eventually :roll: And wondered if this spigot ring type thing should be adjusted for height! It does`nt really tell you in the instructions and wondered if anyone else has come across this, And wich way would you go? up or down :)

double-6s I really liked the alfa and was thinking about getting a gtv as a toy as i like coupes and the 147 is still a bit pricey for a weekender, I still say the interiour was no where near the audi as regards quality and the 147 is going to torque steer as opossed to a four wheel drive audi but it felt a lot more involving to drive! which everyone knows the audi is dull, Performance wise never had chance to give it any top end balls at least not over 70,but within this region it felt no quicker than the S3!

Just got myself some weitec ultra gts -40mm and before fitting would i need to cut the bump stops front and rear! never had to on my eibach bilstein setup -35mm, Just wondered if anyone else has :? Dont like butchering stuff like this :(

Toyota Hiace ! Had one for four years fantastic van we called it the Terminator because it took everything you threw at it and still came back for more, only ever needed routine servicing and a radiator :) Ended up selling it on ebay to some indian guy who shiped it back to india i had people fighting over buying it on ebay :) couldn`t believe it, Even got back what i paid for it, Fantastic Van. Got a Mazda pick up now and just as pleased with that But miss The Old Terminator :(

Best thing to do once you get it sorted is just do what i do and dont use it :)

When you live in north wales like ben16v and i do, you end up spending more time watching the sliproads and looking out for unmarked police cars and traps than concentrating on driving :shock: Its plain to see that all they care about is revenue :cuckoo: The A55 is a nightmare they are hidden everywhere, Ive just sold my Audi S3 because its just a waste of time owning such a fast car here..

I should of told you ben but it was a last minute decision, There is something going on most weekends and its a chance for me to run the corrado as it stays in the garage all week :( Will let you know next time.. :)

nia573 yes they are on the industrial estate in llandudno junction they have a really expensive machine its a hunter no tyre fitting centre will be able to set any car up as good as this! honestly my car handles fantastic now :D well pleased! ive tried to load up the results but my stupid scanner has gone all dodgy
