i think you will be hard pushed find a corrado which hasent had paint, the youngest corrado is now 15 year old. keep looking around one will pop up,paint shouldnt stand out like a sore thumb, it took me a while to find a good bodyshop, im pleased to say the paint at kj rule and son in napean are top notch, if you ever need body and paint work.

put your fingers in the coolant, and rub your fingers together is it slippery like oil.also smell it , i might smell a little oily.is the header tank bubbling up at all?

hi just a quick one, my 1990 nugget, dosent have the genuine gearknob on it, whats the part number for a genuine knob that was supposed to be on the car when new.is it the golf ball style one?, as this is an early style?.my car has leather interior, so would the knob be a leather type,or platic thanks in advance alex

are you sure that the original crank has never been touched i.e reground with over size shells or anything. recheck your old shells, see if they fit in ok.

look on top of the ecu , there will be a part number stamped on it along with the manufacter i.e siemens, bosch ect

really, they made the correct size rear vw badge in black for the corrado, so you think my nugg originally came with chrome? :shrug: -

ive got the same fault ! handbrake off, but is very dimley lit on the dash, havent had time to investigate yet.

best bet, remove boot carpets, fold rear seats down, dry boot as best as you can, with a torch get in the boot, and get some with a hose spray the tailgate area and check for a leak. seal, repair leak and re-test.

yes front end off im afraid,if you have a/c you may need to recover and recharge a/c gas, you maybe able to move it over and get the rad out. buy genuine buy once and forget ! about £190 but double check dealer.also need 2 bottles of g12++ coolant.
