Pretty much my perfect Corrado. Storm, percect paint, BBS CH's, perfect drop, and a 400BHP+ VR6 turbo... absolutely awesome. Every time I was up at Stealth whilst your car was there I was having a nose around it and feeling distinctly envious :) Look forward to seeing it at some shows / meets this year.

That was me mate. You flashed and I looked and realised who it was a few seconds after you passed me :)
-
May have to look into that. I went to 10w50 and it quietened things down for a few months but it's starting to sound a tad agricultural again. I'm saving for an engine rebuild but would like to make the car not sound too clapped out for as long as I can!

Wow - 10w60? I went up to 10w50 and it really quietened things down but thought 10w60 would be too thick for a VR.

Just to clarify Swompy (Jake) is a good guy and not to be confused with Swampy! :)

Glad it's not just me that's always thought that. I've seen this style of wheel on Skylines and such over the years and always thought they'd look fantastic on a Rado.
-
YES. They would look fricking awesome.

At the end of the day it's your car - so do what you want :) But I personally think the downsides more than outweigh any positives.

Well as you're soliciting opinions, gonna have to vote for option 4 - I'd just stick with the original Storm badge on the rear if I had a Storm. It's not that it looks chavvy as such.. it just feels wrong as I know that the badge doesn't belong there, if that makes sense :)

Yes. But it's an enormous compromise to make. 18's look too large on the Corrado frankly.

Speedo Binnacle Covers - Group Buy Feeler - P12 - Prototypes fitted, all OK!
Jim replied to Jim's topic in Group Buy Feelers
Have a progress update :) They've produced a prototype pair. I'm in the process of seeing about getting them sent to me so I can trial fit them. They're produced in a white ABS plastic, but have a black top - so there should be no white visible. I'm not sure if the black top is black plastic or if it's painted. I'm going to check out the prototype parts as and when I get them and will report back on my feelings about them. So just to confirm this group buy is not dead and is trickling along! Cheers. -
Have to give thanks to the mods on E38 for bringing the latest threads on his behaviour to our attention (must confess I never browse E38 so was unaware he'd surfaced on there, causing more problems!). Thanks guys! Seems this guy just can't keep his affairs in order and has a problem with being honest. Just can't risk any more Corrado Forum members getting ripped off.

What do I do with my engine, advice and opinions please.

Interesting. I would go to VW for the bearing shells. -
That'll just be paying the bill! Not envying that one! :)

Got a bit of a bargain there. -
List of classes here, for confirmation: http://www.stanfordhallvw.com/concours-delegance/

If I'm honest, given his age and circumstances, that price doesn't seem too bad. I'm paying £500 for my VR6 and I'm nearing my mid 30's, have over a decade of no claims, garage the car, and have a clean license!

Great first post! Welcome to the forum! :)
-
8k and sod all information in the advert. Drives me crazy. Looks extremely clean though :)
-
Original Solitudes or Speedlines. Just can't beat a clean VR on original Speedlines to be honest.
-
Guessing its a VR6 as you mention coilpack but ensure the leads are connected to the plugs properly - they can be a bit stubborn on the VR because of how low down the plugs are. If that doesn't work try alternating through the plug leads swapping them with your originals and see if the misfire goes away. Were the parts all new or second hand?

Not just you. The ultimate blend of practicality, performance, and the whole 'Q' car thing. Would have avant/estate/touring versions of most of the performance cars - certainly all of the Audi RS4/RS6's.

It was these chaps if I remember correctly! Not sure if anyone ever actually got any done with them though! http://www.dual-metallising.co.uk/

Seems to be a lot of Americans showing up suddenly. It's an invasion! :)
