I think they are yes , its the little clip in the cabin that breaks and also the trumpet thingy on the engine side if things Im sure someone will explain alot better than me but the answer your looking for is yes

Yea i always use bottle water from asda just for the sake of doing it And the water in hull is really hard and im not sure if that makes a difference but i do it anyway

Wish i had the cash for the manifold but im on a car parts buying ban at the moment haha -
Mine was done using a piece of bumper and welded in mate , but we just cut a plug out of the part of bumper and then used that to plug it and then welded it in Like has been said already a light skim is fine but ideally the less filler used the better

Ds2500 are brilliant , there a bit slow on the bite when there cold but once you get them warmed up they get so much better , then it just seems that the quicker you go and the more you use the brakes they just keep getting better and better -

At least its all bargaining potential and i suppose that if these cars do start to sell at this condition for this kind of price then it shows that they are rising , remember it wasnt that long ago that prices was rock bottom and a reasonable vr could have been had for 1500 ish

Yea i knew about the hot spots bit i just didnt know if it would cause a problem for a short period of time I thought the pump ran all the time and then afterwards it kept running once the car was stopped

as title im pretty much pit of cash for the vr at the moment as a suprise situation is going to drain me of most cash i have !! I need a replacement one so i can run the car and would rather have one on than bypassing If anyone has a spare laying about they dont want alot for id be very gratefull , if not it will have to wait until a new one can be had

whats peoples thoughts on this , im going to do it just for a few months until i can afford a new one (cars not on the road ) i know its not advisable for ever but as a temporary fix so i can run the car and start getting things like the gear linkages set up and other bits and also it would make it alot easier to pull the car in and out my garage

What would be considered an OK price for complete set of recaro seats ?

Not alot if they need a full trim mate and they wont be origional recaros if the current trim is half leather half fabric as they didnt come like that from factory Hope that helps a little Id be asking someone like mj interiors how much a retrim would be and then basing my price for the seats on that I paid around 1000 for my seats after i had bought a loom and travelled half the country to collect them -
Cheers sean its taking some of the panick away as quite a few people have said this now Iv got to sort out the gear linkages out at weekend if i have time then hopefully i can bypass the aux waterpump for now just so i can run the car up to temp and maybe drive it up and down the garages Gonna try wetvac the interior this weekend and fit the loom and recaros as i need them out my flat now haha

Thanks mate im pleased with it now but iv got some issues that need sorting , hopefully yhere isnt nothing massive that can go wrong i just hope the tappets free off haha
