is this the one that goes through the shock absorber??? thats the only one i undid. using koni t/a with koni springs. It was fine for the first week or so of having them fitted but then i started to notice it over speed bumps and now i notice it on big bumps in the road.

i've noticed some more bubbling up on mine! a bit on the passenger rear arch and a bit on the drivers front arch!!! god i hate rust... i spent my 3 years of crx ownership chasing it!!!! i think its where the car has had a scrape in the past and hasnt been repaired too well!
-
i thought that aswell actually but i think it sounds too solid to be the exhaust. Im sure that if it was the exhaust i would hear it rattle aswell (as all my baffles are loose  ) ??

ah thats interesting... cause i havnt actually got the proper bumbstop on yet. still got the crappy small ones that came with the kit. why is the lack of bump stop causing a knocking??? will it have damaged the shock not having this bump stop on?
-
This was happening before i took it all apart on saturday so i know its not my shoddy workmanship! im pretty sure its just the passenger side rea. when i go over big bumps i get a thudding / clunking noise from the back, its only on big bumps and it doesnt sound too bad but its one of those noises that i know i should get looked at sooner or later... any advice??? new bushes? some kind of link? etc. ta

-
so basicly if you doing the top tensioner, you may aswell do the bottom one aswell??? i still havent quite grasped the concept even having owned a VR6 for 6 months now and asking loads of Q's about it
-
thats a shame... you gonna do the lower one aswell then? out of interest? why did you have it all striped down?
-

even after your out burst on what a rip off it all is??? is this still going ahead? just washed my car and the paint is very hazey!! will this kit put it back to a nice sharp green without the slight haze? if so put me down but to be honest id quite like to just have the paint cleaner and then use my autoglym polish??? is that possible? paint cleaner is only about £30 - £40 IIRC?? please advise! thanks

cool. the koni kit is cheap and cheerfull and dont listen to what ppl say about it being a hard ride. its no different to the H&R's and i have driven both!!! you can always get the offsets altered on the wheels so they sit under the arches a bit more. Its about £12 per wheel plus VAT, see link for details http://www.wheelrefurbishing.com/pricelist.htm £450 inc new tyres and refurb is a bargin. how much was the refub?? -

WOOOOOOHHHHH look how high that baby is!!! did you have to buy the tyres separately? or did you find a set of those wheels with the 205/40's on already? -

My mates dad is a coppa ...(tosser) quite high up in the cambs police. he was saying that they have so many people that do fill in the forms and sign them that they simply dont bother chasing up the ones that dont sign. i got done on an empty dual carridge way at 7 in the morning last year. 88mph   and that was when i was slowing down to answer my mobile

i thought you didnt like the ride of after market wheels? the difference of 16 and 17 inch wheels wont make much difference?? incidentally i am now running on those koni spings and they feel fine. maybe you got a duff set?? -
hey look, i never spot corrados, but my eagle eyes saw this one on the supanet website
-
basslink is a sub and amp package thing. sounds great and is nice and compact see here for info http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... t=basslink

i was playing with my mates 911 rear spoiler the other day. the whole mechanism is alot more advanced that the corrados but im sure it all adds to the weight slung over the rear wheels...
