-
first thing to consider would be valve stem seals, they may have just gone hard and cracked ...or if the car is high miles the valve guides could also be worn whats the milage /history on it
-
when it wont restart , does the engine turn over like normal or no?
-
dont hit the rev limiter next time mate :)

all the ones ive had apart have plastic ones with a screw in brass top....if you bang the inj in you will break the plastic bits, theyre mega brittle anyway they push in simply by hand...no need for a mallet
-
^^^^^then it smashes the plastic insert

sounds like you need new o rings...they do pull out , but it takes a good yank usualy , they should be fairly firm and not rattle about
-
i wouldnt drive it...it should find its own place with the bolts loose maybe start it or just give it a good wriggle by hand
-
did you losen the other mounts so the engine sat where it wanted? i put one on my g60...no bad vibes from that
-

do the test what dr mat says on mine it was a dodgy headunit causing too much loss another thing, if its almost flat and you just catch it and go for a 10 min drive its not going to charge it up again best bet is to take it off and charge it for 12hrs or so and take it from there i hated my car when it did that, i wouldnt stand for more than 4-5 days , now it will still start after 3 weeks, but after the 3 weeks it either needs a recharge or a bloody good run to brng it back to 100% -
i had a noisey fan on mine....the only way i could see that i could get oil at the front bearing was to dunk the whole fan motor in a pot of duck oil for a few hrs i then let it drain overnight and its been fine ever sinse (several years)
