Has been on eBay for the last few months at silly money and has now dropped. Anyone been to look at it? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1995-N-VOLKSWAGEN-CORRADO-2-0-16V-3DR-/150616718864?_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D4%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D2364426765138280188#ht_1135wt_1139 ---------- Post added at 10:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:53 PM ---------- Tempted to buy it. But I want a new car for winter and would probably feel bad using it if it's as good as the pictures show. Always wanted a Blackberry as well.

That looks great. Will get one of these when the credit card recovers :)

Can the Lambda sensor cause overfuelling?
-
I would be horrified if my VR was getting that. My car averages 35mpg on the dash! Perhaps I drive too slow?
-
I ditched JOM's too after the previous owner had fitted some. Handled like crap and front dampers knocked like crazy! I swapped for standard suspension. Best all round IMHO ;)

Help get obsolete parts re-introduced via VW Classic Parts!

I've updated the VW-Classic Parts response to these part numbers on the first post. A few of them they are planning to re-introduce! :D -
Scotts of Sloane Square "Carry on" Campaign

There's a girl called Laura who seems quite helpful. Can drop her an email about it if you want James? There used to only be about five 536 parts on there last year but they seem to have got allot more on there recently. Could be that it's in production? -

81.36 euros at Classic Parts if you can't do anything with it. -
Sounds like yours was a lease or VAG company car :)
-
Aren't you a bit young to be driving a Corrado? ;) Nothing more satifying than working on a car and it all goes right! Unlike one of those days where you get sheared bolts and lots of swearing. Loving the G40.
-
Have you fitted a new roof seal? When I (or Kev! :D) fitted one to my green C it struggled for the first few months as the seal was pretty tight.
-
If it helps VW have just re-introduced this for RHD cars on the Classic Parts website :) Not sure how much it is but I know you like your mint condition stuff and you can't get better than new ;)
-
Isn't the light pack the same as a Passat? Seem to remember they offered a black one on that model?

Got an email from a new lady at Classic Parts in Germany today. Some of the parts on the original post are in consideration for re-introduction :) I will copy and paste the email tomorrow. -
Southend - Cruise strip / Corrado / Meet

Me and my mate used to go there in his FQ340 a few years back. More for a laugh though Not really my scene but good to see another Essex member :) -
Wow Bill! If I could justify it financially I would buy it in a second. Only down the road from me too! :(
-
UJ on the steering column? I was hoping the suspension overhaul on the front of mine would sort the slightly vague steering in the dead centre position. But reading the post above it may now not. So could well be a UJ on order soon :(

Jasmine yellow. Allot paler than Nugget :)
-
Don't normally offer but let me know if you desperately want some bits cheaper in the future :)
-
The piece is available via Classic Parts and includes the whole A Pillar. About £109 + VAT before it went obselete.
-
Definately interested in a set of these!
-
Cheers mate :) The cassette box I bought on eBay was for a pre-facelift anyway :( I understand the post facelift one is shaped like the VDO dials. To be honest, I may just bite the bullet and go VDO anyway. how do you go about sorting the wiring for it. Do you have to make a loom? Supercharged came around today and we removed the front bumper (fitted incorrectly by previous owner), rust treated the lower carrier (in surprisingly good nick!) and fitted a brand new 90mil splitter. However, the metal brace bar was missing so i'm not planning on driving anywhere until the new one is fitted.

Better mpg on normal unleaded compared to super?
Pat_McCrotch replied to jaded2882's topic in Engine Bay
Is the G60 designed to run on 98ron+ then? -
Cheers :) My loom is pretty shocking in it's quality and need to 'upgrade' before Winter. Will be in touch soon
