  1. I'd prefer standard to be honest Great to see a Corrado section on the VW Heritage site, very pleased : )
  2. £225.00! Gets on my ****. The government wants us all driving new cars
  3. Love this: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volkswagen/caddy/volkswagen-caddy-pick-up-1-9-sd--------------1997/2093378?isexperiment=true I'd have it if I had the space
  4. Received today, with thanks. Very pleased, thanks very much. Ian
  5. I read an article the other day about old mini's being targeted for their parts value. It seems Corrado's are now targeted for the same. Really hope you get it back asap, keep in touch. Cheers
  6. Had a lovely week so far.... Got woken up at 2am by the smell of smoke, had a look around the house, then outside to notice the bin cupboard below us was on fire! Firebrigade had already turned up by the time I reached for the phone. Was a small bin fire, that was put out quickly, no damage to the property, not sure if it was accidental or some little ****. Really love West Brom! What is it about people today? Needless to say we're moving asap, after being burgled and now this. Rant over
  7. I'm in West Brom, so I'll keep an eye out, I pass through Dudley daily as well.
  8. Hi, I have exactly the same issue with my C, huge paint crack at the back, where scuttle cover would be. Mine doesn't leak, I'm going to take the paint off this summer see if any damage lurks! (ie tin worm)
  9. Yes, The gearbox's seem to have problems too, was it a leaking oil problem? Sounds expensive
  10. Indeed, Thought I'd double check, cheers for the response. I'll have to be a bit more careful or fit the GTI ones.
  11. The last set were Mintex pads and discs.
  12. Hi Al, Realise this isn't Corrado related, but thought I'd give it a go. Had my daily Lupo for over a year, and in that time its gone through 3 sets of Discs and pads due to them warping! (the discs that is) They tend to last for about 5/6k miles (which I do in three months) Looking around the net, people seem to say there prone to warping if you break too hard, ride the breaks, or sit on the brake after medium/heavy breaking, or they've not been fitted properly. Guess I'll have to start driving a bit more gently, or fit vented discs, as some people seem to do. Anyone else had this issue? Starting to get on my nerves, may have to swap it for something else Cheers
  13. This made me chuckle! Carry on Corrado! :camp:
  14. Great advice here, Have the same problem with mine, had the car for just over a year and its getting worse! Will make sure I learn how to do this. Cheers
  15. Born and raised in Sheff, But sadly don't live there anymore, I do visit a lot, does that count?
  16. Hi P3rks, Feel your pain re ebay! sent you a PM. Cheers
  17. I'll take one, please....looks like I may have missed this one. :bonk: Cheers
  18. My Mrs very nearly did this with her Polo the other day! Almost but diesel in, not sure why, she's never had a diesel. Luckily the pump nozzle didn't fit, as per Ray's point (on newer cars anyway).
  19. Well done for saving it : ) Some nice pictures
  20. Erallus - VR6 No emblem please (ps, legend for organising this :thumbleft: )
  21. I get pretty bad mist problems, I think its just cars of that age. A colleague at work has a Civic of the same age, seems to always mist up as well : ) You've all got my thinking about hidden holes though!! I'd love to take the paint off mine and see what lurks underneath!
  22. Not sure if anyone else has ever found this: http://www.partscats.info/ It seems very useful on first glance.
