Can't get that link to work - maybe the thread's been removed. Anyone care to post a precis?
-
Now I'm even more confused - I thought those buttons were in the Cig Lighter trim surround towards the top? Ah well....
-
Andi - how come your ABS warning light is next to the headlamp switch? All other C's I've seen have it at the top of the switch pod to the left of the steering wheel. :?:
-
A colleague at work has put NSX calipers on his '94 Prelude and painted 'em a nice Bright Blue    with "Engine Laquer" whatever that is. (And the wheels are OZ "Super Tourismo" - what he went for after searching for months for the Mythical SuperLeggeras)
-
Eh? :| :?
-
Just realised that I've only just recently started doing this, after having the C now for nearly 6 months! Why'd it take me so long??? Do you find yourself taking a certain route 'cos you know there are nice big shiny shop windows so you can catch a glimpse of your C as you're driving???
-
No - piccys of my car are real!!!
-
Have a look atthis thread for details of something that will do just that... See how it looks on my Corrado here
-
No - just assumed that you were soon to be the proud owner of a 20VT C !!!

whats louder than a Miltec or Magnex ehaust for a VR6?
stormseeker replied to Rams's topic in Engine Bay
I had a janspeed on a fiesta 1.3    (OK, OK it was a long time ago and I was a student) and the fit and quality were abysmal. If they have gone bust I can understand why  -
Didn't some magazine road-tests of the VR6 when it was first introduced in the Corrado struggled to get sub-7 second 0-60 times? edit: D'oh - posting overlap - just read the post above. Must've been Top Gear mag then....
-
Back to the original question - not really crazy or on drugs - he just loves his Calibra as much as we love our Corrados?
-
All meant in the best possible taste! To be serious for a mo' (!) - when the Calibra was first released I can remember thinking "wow, looks really good" (or if I were to be really nasty - "wow, how did they make a Cavalier look good?")

stormseeker replied to Rams's topic in Engine Bay
A cat bypass? I thought the general consensus was that was a bad thing on the VR, unless you're running some serious engine mods... :?: :?: :?: -
Each to his own an' all that but surely "Vauxhall" and "Class" in the same sentence??? Delusional Schizophrenics the lot of 'em... :D
-
Got one here too - use it all the time. You can get them in Yellow or Silver over here. Cheapest price I've seen here is £45 + VAT at Costco ('bout $88 ???)
-
Aah Haa! have a look here for people being stung £51.70 for one from GPC....

Just upgraded my headlight harness -- pics!
stormseeker replied to g60rado's topic in Suppliers Forum
Strictly speaking you should upgrade everything, yes. But I think the main problem is the overall length/gauge of the original loom battery to bulb. I'll let you know if my home made loom using original headlamp connectors makes any noticeable difference.... -
It's also known as G40 and is a Hall Effect sensor - might be known as an impluse sensor??? Can't find it on ETKA at the moment so can't give you a part number...
