All I know is what ETOS is telling me...that the hub spacing of the shaft is the same 52mm as the later, two-pulley 16v pumps. I'm not saying you're wrong but the KR-engined 16v came with two different pumps.
-
How would you suggest they measure the exact fuel consumption then?
-
Although the pump has the same (52mm) hub spacing as all 16v engines apart from the earliest KRs, the G60 PAS pump part number is different. It's only the first three numbers though and it sounds like the racks are more or less the same so I've got a feeling a 16v pump may well fit. I recently bought a brand new 52mm ZF pump on eBay for £40 delivered.

I'm sure I remember him saying he'd sold it. I think he got a VR6 that needed some work instead.

...unless you're not on first-name terms with the MOT inspector :)

I think Campbell had trouble shifting his yellow 6-spd 20vT Corrado recently and the asking price was eventually dropped to around £4500. I'm not sure what it actually sold for in the end as I haven't seen him on here since.

This may help you in your quest for a short circuit...

Somebody better call Alonso and warn him that he's got competition from the new breed of Corrado driver :)
-
Tickets on their way here too (in May at least). Thanks for the link chap.

A 26-time TT winner and road-racing legend. I'm ashamed that I didn't mention him before. The people's champion.

I understand that you had limited options, but dumping 10 litres of oil on the floor and leaving it was pretty bad!

I'd have to say everybody that races motorcycles at National and International levels. The dangers of motorcycle racing far outweigh those of the more popular car motorsport...in my opinion. From the perspective of pure genius there are just too many too mention. I'll add John Surtees and Ron Haslam to the mix though.

What solenoid?! considering i don't know the motronic.... Not having a dig chap, I just thought you'd seen something I hadn't. Had there have been a solenoid I'd like to have known it was there. I don't know the KE system that well either having never owned a KE-fuelled car.
-
What solenoid?! The connection marked 'system pressure??' is correct. It is the inlet to the fuel distributor from the fuel pump. The black box above that arrow is the ECU-controlled differential pressure regulator valve and is the KE version of the K-Jet warm-up regulator (WUR). The black box on the opposite side is the air-flow plate position potentiometer. The object marked as the 'control pressure regulator??' is the system pressure regulator and is in the return line to the fuel tank from the fuel distributor. The small fuel pipe marked 'control pressure??' feeds the system pressure regulator with the excess fuel to be returned. The 'cold start injector' connection is labelled correctly. ...I think!

Recommended VW specialist in Norwich/Norfolk??
bcstudent replied to symtheus's topic in Suppliers Forum
If there's a decent VW specialist in Norwich I'd love to know about it! -
The more I see it the more I want one. It's awesome.

Riley, I paid £100 plus delivery for G60 calipers, carriers, new 280mm discs and new pads. With funky discs and hoses maybe £120?!
-
...and me if I had any money!
-
The actual car looks ok. I'd even say that I quite like it, but that's probably because of the active rear-spoiler!
-
Hmmm, it's....big! Looks like the Audi from 'I, Robot'.

Lupo TDIs seem to go for £4k minimum, and for that reason I couldn't justify one over a £2k Seat Ibiza TDI. It'll be a cold day in hell before I buy a Fiesta though! I'll probably keep the Corrado since I hardly ever use it; in fact I often drive it just to keep the battery in shape. We'll see what happens regarding work and moving abroad after this post-graduate study is over.
-
That may be true if you're buying new but I'm looking at cars costing a couple of grand, like a Seat Ibiza TDI or something! I really would like a Lupo though

I'm sure I heard some thing about 'loving dubs' at the start.
