Thanks Guys. 20p from VW Heritage

I love my Corrado, but it needs to be seen as a product of the 80's and 90's. I once owned a MGB, which was completely outclassed by nearly every modern car. It was still a hoot to drive and made a refreshing change from a modern.

Hi,All, Has anyone got a spare one of these lying around for a late model Corrado with black trim? Thanks Mark

Thanks for sharing. It has given me the inspiration to wash the Corrado and take it out for a drive.

Hi Tom, Do you have the small plastic screw cover for the A post? I need one only. Cheers Mark

Modern day turbo diesels are very quick. In the mid range my Volvo V50 is very quick and would outpace the Corrado. In the end the Corrado would catch up because its top speed is probably higher.

mine is ignition fed as well. If it is powered up all the time it could drain the battery if you leave it on.

Me Too! It's got to worth at least £6k.

At the moment it is a lot of fuss about nothing. As far as I am aware they are drilling for oil. A licence has not been issued to frack.

These guys have done the 4 Speedlines on my VR6. I can't fault their work. http://www.lepsons.com/

Hi, Do you have a cap for the screw in the A pillar? I need one in black. Thanks

Mine went through the MOT yesterday. She passed first time with no advisories. My garage thought a bit of surface rust on the rear brake pipe might be an issue, but the MOT didn't pick up on it. Well chuffed!!! Good luck everyone

Correct! I have got into Corrados later in life. I liked Corrodos in the 1990's, but unfortunately the company I worked for would only run to a Golf GTI. Recently I decided to buy a Corrado as I needed another car for occasional use. I have no interest in making major modifications, but will happily make discreet improvements when funds allow. I am ever hopeful that values will rise, even if it is just to make expenditure on the car easier to justify to the Mrs.

I think prices for the best oem examples will rise over time. I suspect the Corrado's ownership profile will change as classic car enthusiasts buy up the best oem examples and the non standard examples or those in poor condition fall out of favour.

Beadles VW in Maidstone were happy to look up the code for me. -
Is anyone going tomorrow? Let me know if you fancy a meet up and a chat about Corrados!!

£155,000! Surely no one is going to pay this much?

Good luck. May be worth getting the paint damage sorted then it would be immaculate.

The albums should now be public. Let me know if there are further problems. I had the gold correction package. The total cost was about £1200, but this included the alloy refurbishment and the removal of a 7 small dents. The car has done only 70,000 miles. I am the second owner.

Here are a few photos of my VR6 before and after paint restoration. I also treated her to an alloy wheel refurbishment and a set of new tyres. I am amazed at the transformation. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/rawsonm/slideshow/ http://smg.photobucket.com/user/rawsonm/slideshow/Corrado%20After
