Just Need a couple of amber side repeaters to match those fogs!!

I used Lepsons in Gillingham to refurbish my Speedlines. They charged £75 + VAT for a full refurbishment. This included an acid striping, filling the damage and a full repaint. They maybe more expensive than some but the quality of their work is superb. IMO anything less than this is not a proper job and is likely to deteriorate very quickly. Their website has lots of useful information for anyone contemplating a wheel refurbishment. http://www.lepsons.com/

Looks very much like to Fiat Coupe to me!!!

It just shows how prices have come down through more efficient production. I had an Alfa 156 as a company car in the late 1990's from memory it cost over £23k after a few extras were added. No way would I pay today's equivalent of over £40k!

Amazing stuff when played through a proper speaker. The whole was shaking! -
A great ad and very reasonably priced. It looks far better than ones dealers are asking twice the money for. Good luck with your sale.

Looks like it is now sold.

Hope they have kept the boxes. They'll be worth a small fortune in 50 years!

And while we are at it - The excellent Continental tyres have transformed into a Geostar for the photograph. From memory they are a cheap Chinese brand. -

Another pet hate of mine is no dust cap on the tyre valve. Not great attention to detail. The drivers seat also looks a bit saggy and can only assume that bolster is knackered as it has been carefully excluded from the photos. Overall not a bad car, £2,500 would probably be a fair price. -
Welcome to the VR6 and the forum. It took me 6 months, but I managed to find a VR6 with 69000 on the clock. It only cost me £3,800 a couple of years ago. Since then I have probably spent a similar amount on repairs and new parts. As well as this forum they occasionally appear on eBay and Autotrader. By the way I'm not looking to sell!!

Looks very smart and a rare colour.

Not to mention the wheel refurbishment, sunroof as well a number of other niggles that will no doubt become apparent when you look at it in more detail.

When I was looking for a Corrado a couple of years ago I just missed out on a good low mileage Storm (Green)in Wandsworth. The guy selling it was very friendly and told me he had received a very good price for it from 5th Gear.

a very smart looking early red Corrado in Headcorn, Kent at lunchtime today. The first one I have seen for ages.

Land Rover Defender?

I have the same fitting on my 1995 car. I purchased a new base for my aerial from these people and they were excellent. The base they provided was slightly smaller than the original, but this is only noticeable if they are side by side. It was very easy to install. It was simply a matter of up clipping the plastic trim above the hatch opening and carefully releasing the headlining from the trim above the rear side windows.

On the other hand it has raised the profile of the three cars and I would imagine that values will start rising. I am tempted by the Esprit and will probably waste an hour today checking out the classifieds!

Advise - problem with lock-up garage, letting agents evasive..
MarkR replied to Jim's topic in Off-topic Chat
I would definitely check the contract and see the dates of the agreement etc. There is no security of tenure for garages so the landlord would normally be able to serve notice in accordance with the terms of the agreement. This would normally only be a few weeks. I would expect that the agreement is non assignable so any complaints etc would have to be made by the lease holder. -
If you planning to keep the car it may be worth seeking out a battery with a lifetime guarantee. I had a Unipart battery in my MG and when it failed after 8 years they exchanged for a new battery. It was a little more expensive but paid for itself in the long run. Unipart went bust but other companies may still offer this.

I have one from Classic Additions. It is very thick and fleecy and offers excellent protection in the garage. I can't remember how much it was, but they have a good website.
