Great link that 👍👌
-
As long as it it is still a genuine part or the best available, I am happy anywhere
-
Some people don't get on with Heritage, but they have always been good with me. I just avoid the topran branded stuff. I have always got my classic parts through them , with their help and that has always been good. Keyo uses someone else for classic parts that seems to work well for him And he's just replied as I am typing 🤣🤣

Mine came with adhesive on the backing. I thought they all did !!

That is a ball ache of a job with no easy solution apart from effort. Well done in tackling it as they always look great when re-foamed
-
I'm still having a good read even though I can't offer any solutions. Keep trying as we eventually get things solved. Then we feel good..til the next thing happens
-
Congratulations on the award. A Great reward for all of your effort

I am absolutely gutted for you. Bastards.... but at least you do use yours. It is a shame that this is the result. Keep doing your best to look after her.And when you respray her, you need a garage 😊
-
That's why we keep them 😇
-
Hell yes that looks great. Get it ceramic coated when you can, to keep it that way 👍

Welcome back mate. It seems impossible to stay away from a Corrado but at least you have a good base car. She looks a fine example and is a great colour. What made you buy another one? Just curious as I'm sure we all may find ourselves in the sell.....have time and money...... then buy another Corrado 😳😂

I'm with MJA and GrahanU, get them out. They only bond back in. You will he glad that you did it . What's a little more work... 😂

Is there any rear speaker available that will fit without mod ?

Connection update. I shall edit my last post as the small female spade connectors are too small but the 4mm ones fit the small connector. So I have just ordered some of the standard 6mm spades for the larger terminal https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353298224413?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=X-ZtIs2zReu&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=SuQ1hX6ZSQa&var=622487824597&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY -
You are definitely getting on with your motor sorted, fantastic 👍

As above and get the hosepipe out to see if it helps

I shall unpin from the original connector and keep that. Cut off the old pins and fit what is needed. To be fair the conversion lead I bought tucked up out of the way easily -

I bought the Alpine 6 x 4 ones as nothing needed cutting. The only change was a connector adaptor off ebay for a couple of pounds, but you could always remove the old plug and fit new crimps if you wanted. As for quality of speakers, they work fine. I dont have THUMP THUMP music in my ears as I prefer to listen to the tune of the engine. These were only £30 at the time but everything has increased. Cheap and effective replacement of the worn out old Nokia paper items -
Unfortunately they do need to be plugged in. I have a cheap Amazon one and an Aldi one that does the job and less than £20. I Originally looked at the Ctek expensive chargers, but these work fine. If you have a digital voltmeter just have a look at this. My battery is a silver Varta and the biggest that would fit, but still went flat and caused me problems. No issue since thankfully
-
Frustrated for you with that one, especiafter all of the time spent to try and resolve it. What Voltage do you have in the battery and how long was it left from its last start? Mine was a ball ache when I first bought the car, even a new battery would be flat within a couple of weeks and the lower voltage caused havoc. She is lucky to sit with a battery maintenance pack on now and touch wood has never caused an issue with starting and ticking over since. It never drops below 12.78 volts or gets an automatic charge. Easy to disconnect too. Just a thought !! I have no other ideas...

Found this, showing the air flap motor top left. Fan speed resistor pack below this Shiny expansion block valve in the middle at the bottom Far right on top is my temperature sensor which has the yellow plug.
-
I am intrigued... under my black mastic was the block expansion valve where the pipes join to the evaporator. Nothing else as I remember, hmmm Generic picture of this
-
Where exactly was that mounted? Mine has a probe going into the box. I will see if I can find a picture
