Welcome to the great corrado forum. Masses of information on here. Enjoy the car 🚘
-
Not a clue..... never done it and never will 😊. What makes you want to do this?
-
Quality mileage. That reminds me to look for the foglight this weekend 🙄👍

I've been enjoying reading this. All I can say is the aux. Pump runs constantly with ignition live in the OEM set up and definitely needs it. When I have been out in my car I like to pop the bonnet and then leave the ignition on for a few minutes just to continue circulating all of that heat. I have never noticed if the pump comes on with over run fans, so may try testing it today. Just for knowledge .... Good luck with what you are doing 👍

That roof is hilarious, great find. The best thing anyone could do is put a new solid roof on. 7k..... then to make that a Gud un.... Well done in walking away instead of buying a money eating monster -
Always nice to see them for sale. As it isn't complete I would say it isn't worth much more, but easy enough to sort generic parts for

🤣🤣 well that cleared that up 😊 -
That is an engine bay to be very proud of, fantastic work

And welcome to the greatest Corrado information Forum 👍

As above. Good luck if it is the BA version as people expect that pile of sh#t model to be made of Gold for the price, but is the most pathetic one Definitely try replacing the bulb. Worst case, others will fit but you need to replace the plugs and re-pin to the relevant numbers or make up a flying lead. I've done it with 3 different versions. Or make a replacement unit fit in your old housing maybe

I love them and wouldn't say No to one. If they had got round to building one with the steering wheel on the correct side 😂. Your right, it's no power beast, but the arches..... ooo get me a reiger kit for my Corrado But 40k 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 -
😳 yuk.... got to be a good idea. Whose make of catch can do you have there Shaun?
-
Looks great now. I too don't have the balls to do that 😂
-
What was wrong with it ???
-
Nice example. Not too bad a price in a realistic world. Shame they hadn't cleaned the engine bay. Just a wipe around the suspension turrets maybe 🤣

I had to fit one recently on my mk1 project. The cost of that and a pump next to it, plus a new hose their made it very expensive. But.. it is Bosch and works first time, everytime. Good suggestion on the rust proofing 👍

How new do you want, as I believe they are still available new from VW Classic through VW Heritage. I assume it's for a VR, so which of the 3 do you need? Welcome aboard mate, Corrado's are a passion. To be frustrated at and to put a smile on your face. Post a pic of your motor sometime 👍

Have a read of this. Keyo was the last person I know that did his 👍

Good luck with it mate. Pain of a job if it all has to come out... 😳

One small step for man..... Did you sort this?I'm checking the sensors for continuity (even though their new) this afternoon. If they test out okay it could be the ABS ring that is the problem. Plugging in a vagcom should tell you which wheel the problem is at. The slave cylinder should be an easy fix when you swap it out,. Just a pain having to wait then bleed it when you get it back. Was the ignition on a long time? I suppose the aux water pump was just screaming "I'M RED HOT" as it had no coolant to keep it a little cooler I am super cautious of the sunroofs..Too expensive to repair if they break. After 12 yrs I would take it all out, clean and regrease then put her back, just to be on the safe side.... I know it's a days job, but prevention is better than repair. But as it isnt that important yet I would go for the small wins in achieving any little jobs. Like the blower motor. Well done for not giving up 👌👍 Your car is a gorgeous one

A clean and a straight swap mk3 golf motor made mine fresh have legs again 👍

https://corradofarmparts.com/collections/sun-roof-repair Here we go Out of stock at the moment. Not cheap but what other choice is there... Everyone that has a working sunroof should remove it, strip it down, clean and re-grease as a matter of a 25yr+ service now
-
Hopefully a nice fix. Well done in sorting this 👍

You beat me to it by seconds.... 😊😂
