Hold on before you fit the bulbs have you a rusty screw, that part houses the lense unit, the little b....d , I have one very rusty nearside rounded screw that I'm going to have tackle soon to change a bulb ha.

Seen this as well and they are a great company but says not for USA cars . If it's based on rarity then my colour Magic Black is rarer in the Corrado then mystic blue and the Green, I'm sure other colours are rarer as well out there,my car came with leather, Solitudes are common as were also used on the Golf Mk3, Speedlines are more desirable to most, I can get my front grill sprayed but I prefer the matt black stock grill as does not look as garish, I can get a storm badge and stick it on my gear shift trim and same applies to the rear boot decal. Am I correct in saying they are the only differences in a Storm ? So is it fair to say they should of called it the Drizzle as it didn't really make a Storm

To be honest it looks well made but it is not yet fitted and tested, it was purchased as a spare. I'm far from been knowledgeable about electrics to make a review, I would post some pictures on here for you guys to examine but unfortunately this site is not functioning to allow that.

Yeah the throttle is on the wrong side isn't it ? Where are all the electric bits that go with it says complete. maybe it doesn't have a piggy ecu.

Ok mate Ive had Mustangs, V8 Quattros and flat six Porsche's and the Golf Mk7 is one of the best all round performance cars I have ever owned, I dealt my old Mustang would keep up with her on the B roads. Cracking car. I was going to get the R but just the extra weight the GTI just flys down the lanes. What sort of R32 was you hoping to get with 6k would of been a bit of a shed a thet price. you need to spend at least 8k for a half decent one and more like the 10k- 14k mark, prices on these have gone up in recent times. 6k would be a bit of a project car I imagine if that is what your after? Credit to VW I know a lot of of folks touting it the best looking golf since the MK2 golf and I totally agree although MK2 golf big bumper is still my fav Golf by a long shot.

If you can stretch it would go for a mk7 gti with performance pack , **** off a shovel and stick to the road like glue , stunning interior as well . You have a vr6 rado for the growl? I've put the idea to rest to be honest getting an r32 as too many classics are a bit stressful with storage and costs.

Thanks Cressa, I have a aftermarket locking nut so I imagine it would not fit. Did you just get the cap of the lock nut as well from classics ?

The one that annoys me is the locking nut one . I ain't got one ha !

The ones posted above are off the part diagrams so are the ones that left the factory on the Corrado so I went for the stock look on mine. I think you'll find they will fit but they are not correct relating to the era . These are more like it and you had a little plastic pincher tool with the tool kit to remove them off the bolt head from factory, I actually still have mine with the tool kit amazingly. Have them fitted to the same alloys you own. I believe they are still available from the dealers if you want oe. Yeah I have read the metal quality VW sourced after the MK2 golf was a lot less better quality, makes sense as lets be honest the Rado suffer from rust quite badly as well, my Mk2 golf is 5 years older and had a shed load of owners and the body work underneath has done better then the Rado to be fair.

Thanks that would be a very nice car indeed in either guises. From what I can see it was like the colour concept leather two tone and matched the body colour. Had matching surround trim on carpets and seat belts, half chrome golf ball gear knob well above its time . It's like a EU good taste version of the Anniversary we got in the UK. Still wondering if anyone knows the the info about the black recaros interior with the red detail. Noticed it comes with red seat belts as well which was part of the anniversary package. The Mk4 2.0 was not worthy of a GTI badge either you had to have the 1.8 GTI with the turbo , that was quite a nice car with the Recaro interior.

The Mk3 has never really been that desirable but I think a MK3 2.0 16v with that interior would be a good buy and I would quite like one ha. It didn't help that they were slower then the Mk2 golf and were a bit roly poly in the handling department. I've got a feeling the cool interior might have been a Uk option or only the european version of the anniversary , would luv to know. I have seen the cool interior in photos on rhd cars though so a bit mythed.

Does anyone know whether this Recaros interior came with a MK3 GTI golf anniversary as when I have looked at the MK3 anniversary in the UK it has a chequered colourful not to my taste interior, however love the interior to the link below, do folks know what model this came on thanks. I have seen it described on the anniversary model but never see it on a car ?
