    Vr6 Pcv valve

Ouch they were available a year back for £60.00 - looking on ebay they are now 200 which indicates the last few have been snapped up and they are now obsolete. Hopefully will be remade as used on all aaa and abv blocks I believe.
  2. I would be all over this if i had a G60. GLWS
  3. Thank You mate for your kind words. Its funny the lady from the local council sent me an email on my initial application after I had paid saying- oh im going to fail this I shall not even bother putting it through the planning portal if that is ok with you- I told her no please proceed - it cost me at least 1k extra for an appeal expert and I didn't tick the claim the costs box back off local authority if you win as wanted that to not influence the governments inspectorates decision- i did look at my local planning officer in charge of my case and she was fresh out of uni and little experience and probaly never even paod for a planning application herdelf.. The irony is I have one condition my local council have to approve the hedge im planting for shielding- I think I can choose a nice indigenous shrub or Laurel thanks not really a fan of monster ferns As you said mate dont let these people steal your dreams fight them authority is there as a guidance don't mean its just. . Shaun whats wrong with you and the green mean super pea I love it man.
  4. So finally got the VSR fitted with my mate Robin- that is the stock set you can see as it was sold which you dont see often - also fitted some team Heko which I love with the black paint. Sad to see the Schrick go as been on the car since 2003 as stated by the stealth receipt but it found a good home on an Oettinger twilight VR owned by my friends in the Midlands. Great news after a year battle with my local planning department who kept saying not in keeping and failed twice- I supplied ample evidence it was but went onto dead ears- I took it above them to the Government Inspectorate that agreed on my behalf and over turned the council decision and quite frankly slated their refusal as I had indeed met their planning guides comprehensively. . Next winter the Rado and golf will have a warm home to preserve them . 16 speedies VWMS will be going on shortly Things looking up chaps to a good summer !
  5. If that is a drain behind the leaf the it id a water deflector that aims it into the drain away from the the other side to stop water ingress running down the cable perhaps ? Yes when you think you have everything off a breakers car then realise you left an obsolete part on there - my last one was the windscreen mirror housing fixing which was very expensive from vag.
  6. Yeah these are nice these are. They look very Merc which I love.
  7. To think there would be no warranty on it either - that seller is a proper wrong un. I see some NOS scrapers sold for 600 this week in the UK - Im pretty sure these will be remade shortly by classics like the roof gutters.
  8. Some of the parts can still be had off ebay with a part number search. wink
  9. The best thing I find is to source parts that are obsolete and just keep an eye out for them- they did make a few reapair kits for them and I keep a look out for them and have managed to get four sets for relativity cheap from Italy as they were less then half vag charged, the cable part is been made by a guy called Kieran- you can still by the pins from classics but that's about it- also the Passat and mk3 cassette is still available new but not cheap and Im mean 800 suckers.
  10. I use AMOS who is unpopular on here but he always has about 8 cars and years of supplies in his garage. Last time I went he had a nugget with a usa tailgate and third brake light. I would say he has the most parts in the UK- although I wouldn't take my car to be worked there as only let Vince work on my car.
  11. My choice of deterrent is an Airedale Terrier which have the largest teeth in the domestic canine family and used by the British Army- I also have a spray that once released its none harmful ( they dont know that ) but it stains the persons face red for several months and also can get a few smacks in. Dog theft is my biggest concern as my pets are like my family. 2 weeks ago in my home city a car was stolen with two toddlers in the back - also several occasions car thief's have ran over police officers, you need to be prepared its a sick world out there.
  12. A crackhead can cause so much damage in one night trying to find money for their next hit- easily smash 10 windows a night - causing 1000 s of damage just for £30.00
  13. Scumbags feel your pain and good luck you will get her back in good shape- was something left ion the car it really looks like they tried to get in - I would say more over that it was none professional attempt to break in. Smashing of cars glass is very common on the highway - I noticed this more owning a dog and constantly walking round shattered glass on the pavement by parking bays. I invested in a disk lock last week and use that car to block in my other two cars.
  14. Another thing worth mentioning is the isv houses srraight into the vsr through a rubber grommet on the back of it - not sure I need a damper like stock .
  15. Certainly will more over on a basis that I do not want to cause any pinking .
  16. They came with a black ecu piggy- I have seen adverts for VSR ecu but not sure that is correct to be honest- ultimately I imagine these ecu to be for dizzy cars so I will just be using my schrick piggy as my car is a coil pack - it just sends a signal to the solenoid to release air. Thankfully have this all ready set up on car but I will be chatting to Vince to make sure the schrick chip I have in ecu as present is suitable for the vsr. Also the later ecu units that my car and the storms have better immobilizer on the ecu- much better units. It may be that a full blown ecu came with early vsr systems then they upgraded to a piggy black ecu to bring down costs and to be compatible with coil and dizzy. Unfortunately I have this ecu piggy but it has a nasty burn mark in casing that is showing the internals of the ecu so I will just use the schrick- I did post the other day a perfectly good cost effective unit that you can use that is weatherproofed and also has the led lights like the shk ecu.
  17. Fla it attaches to the bolts that hold the aux water pump. So behind right side of engine bay- also may I add the solenoid has the same 2 pin plug for schrick actuator. I have also seen these vessels in black but vsr cam with green so keeping stock although looks like a toilet float ha.
  18. No worries gentlemen send me your postal address . Very busy this week but will get them sent out to you asap.
  19. Thanks Geri it really was an hour or two work at home - just very happy that the solenoids where so ready available and cheap enough. There is very little info on the ground on vsr install so I will be recording my findings to help others..
  20. So the build begins - as they say start off with the easy jobs first. Steering wheel now fitted - just had to put an extra cable in as three working horns on wheel but fits fine with a momo hub. The VSR came to me in a sorry state so I sanded down bracket and replaced with 3.2 mm black vacuum hose. After doing some research the vag solenoids where actually made by Pierburgh and still available - however with the vag numbers on them were triple the cost then direct from Pierburg so a bit of cross referencing and I got much cheaper and still original units. The green vessel quick clean and fine sand then lacquer came up new. Ready available in the UK and cheap. Picture below shows where the bracket houses behind the block. The biggest difference between a Schrick and VSR is the reservoir vessel is one way rather then 2 way on a Schrick. Continued on to sand down VSR and apply VHT 800 degree followed by a lacquer- picture is displayed with NOS engine trims. Im now happy the VSR is now presentable and should be fully functional as flap moves. The green vessel is still available new from classic for cheap and I have made a template of the bracket if anyone ever wants one.
  21. This will work as well for a piggy ecu and also has the led lights red and green and comes in casing. Have spoke to the seller and it runs upto 12 cylinders - good price to. Wiring diagram on advert. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ignition-RPM-Activated-Switch-for-VTEC-control-or-other-S-C1/332825134965
  22. The muppet on the video called it a golf G60 - heaven lords incompetence at its finest.
  23. Thanks Geri you wont have to wait long - the gear box is the laegest job as the casing needs a few holes drilling and will have the internals inspected for wear whilst its stripped.
  24. Thanks Fen , Im sort of thinking could this possibly be the only Corrado in the world with this combination of parts been vag motorsport parts?
  25. Thanks for your kind words. The alloys I got for a steal. The steering wheels I made . The geabox gemini and vsr was mega but will get a rebate off the schrick which I will be very sad to see go as its every bit as special as a VSR imo = schrick is the business- its going to an owner of a Ottinger Rado so will be cared for . - nonetheless sad as been with the car since 2003 and feel like im selling part of the cars history.
