I told Vince to stop smoking those cigars over peoples engines... -

What car do you have? Yep - most corrado's prime as they have a fuel return system, they also have a run-on circuit to cool the fuel rail after the engine is switched off to prevent hot-start problems

Clutch failure(?) - FIXED, was hydraulic AND friction!

How are you bleeding it - easiest way is pressure bleeding?? Just fit the new slave and try it, then do the master - you can't just do the master and leave the original slave! -
It should have (and most likely still does have) a factory one... Have a read here - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=32852&hilit=reader+coil+wd40

Welcome to the forum, we'll move to interior I think... Fuses deffo ok? I assume both sides not working at all - no clicks etc? Control unit is behind drivers side rear door card Anything else not working - worth looking at what else is on that circuit in the manual and checking them first...
-
Cordless one is good - I have the older one but take a while to charge... for more heavy duty stuff I am now using a corded one - B&Q were doing a really good deal over xmas for £49 with dremel in a tool box with the flexible shaft and various accessories... they may still have some left!

Deffo - as the clutch wears the bite will get higher, if it's low then it's a hydro issue... Is the slave still the original cast part? If so it will need changing anyway and if it's faulty then i would change the master too as it would have put more strain on this... -
Welcome to the forum - The standard mats have Corrado on them and are still available in black and grey but not beige IIRC, about £50 from VAG and altho not as thick as the Justmatz ones they are much better quality and should last another 10-15 years!

The person who drove into you is liable - like any other accident!
