  1. No worries Jon, let me know for ref it's 191498099EX
  2. Ah sh1t sorry dude, it's an outer that I have spare...
  3. Cazza - probably best dealing with Capitalseating for that mate...
  4. The 2 extra pipes go from the fluid res dude.
  5. Welcome to the forum, As above may be something disloged when car was in air like the ECU or Fuel Pump relay or plug to Fuel pump or Hall sender on Dizzy / connections to coil etc... I would have a check of these and then replace both relays and the ignition switch anyway so you know they've been done Another point is the new coil - several motor factors sell the wrong coil for the 16V and this may not be faulty - worth double checking the part number and winding resistances against a known good or ideally swapping it again.
  6. ABS requires good battery voltage - maybe just needs a good overnight charge or replacement
  7. The joints they sell are really poor also - the GKN boxed ones are ok but still not as good as the VAG ones - clear difference in quality of you sit the 2 side by side... There are several chassis changes on the Corrado so you'll also be lucky to get the correct one... I think I have a VAG one somewhere which is RH for all 16V but only the very early G60's if needed. Also some of the boots / clips have now been superceded to the plastic MKV parts - basically will last forever!
  8. What car is it???? The hoses may not be long enough - the ones you need are off a late MK3 VR6 but this only works if you have a late Corrado where the pipe connection is higher up than the earlys... The hose should have a grommet that attaches to the shock near where the ABS cable routes and also 2 rubber bushes to stop the hose hitting the inner wing.
  9. Kev you told me that ASDA's own brand was the stuff to use!!
  10. Spoke to my mate earlier - still available... nmight be worth sourcing from GPC - nice and light for postage !
  11. I really would get a dealer one - thats the only place i could find to sell me a proper ATE one that are now alloy rather than cast despite Eurocarparts being an ATE dealer... I wouldn't trust a second hand one now these caras are 10 years old minimum!
  12. Err.. yeah i'm fairly sure they are 16V clocks dude!
  13. It will be fine as long as you are using a brand new / known good switch and the wires all match up to the old loom. I would however stick a 3 or 5 amp inline fuse on that thin earth wire... will stop it happening again!
  14. Ring a different dealer mate - I can't believe they didn't help!?! Read top mounts are the same on all models, rear beam bushes, WB's and BJ's are 4 Cylinder specific (ie Not VR6)
  15. What do the clocks go up to? (16v rev counts go to 7k)
  16. No fuse or relay dude, it's on a circuit direct from the battery but does include the alternator... There is a red / black wire from the ignition switch to the soleniod which gets energised when you crank
  17. Nice!!!! The second shot reminds me of the original wind tunnel advertising pic!
  18. Err yeah, a lot of people have had issues with the pattern ones leaking and also the senders tend to only last a year or so... What car is it - my G60 one from VAG was £16+ vat but that was a few years ago now... I did buy a MK4 one recently tho and it was £10, sender plug different to Corrado tho...
  19. There is only one for the Corrado VR6 but Euro / GSF always sell the wrong one. 021 115 562 Mahle 0x125 Mann 932/5x The one you have is most likely for a late AAA engine
  20. Yeah, I'm afraid thats just the way it is... the 16V is a great proven engine but the C is too heavy so from a MK2 GTi background you really need to go G60 or VR6...
  21. Fooookin hell!!! Still that lump has done well if I thinbk it's done the mileage I heard it had done with no rebuild and a blower!

Oh good point - the ones I got are domed as it's a champion wheel with that facia ring thing - they do black and chrome ones...
  23. Yeah - one you've answered your own Q, charger / alt bracket I think and the stubby 6mm's hold the 2 9 degree brackets between the head and inlet which also hold the ISV and a fuel pressure (?) sensor... ETKA is handy in these situations!

If you need new bolts dudes Halfords sell a pack of 6 of exactly the right ones in the bike brakes section - they are for discs and better quality than the ones made of cheese that Homo supply...
