Tip for getting the BPPS out, pump the brake pedal first to release the vacum and use a mirror so you can see the clip underneath so you can release it with a small screwdriver -
How far in should the bushes be for the rear axle??
-
These arrived today and I've just got back from work... Apart from no instructions whatsoever, is there anything missing? I'm just a bit concerned as I was expecting to see some sort of hanger for the rear suspension to bolt onto and hold the rear arb underneath? On Kev's Neuspeed one he has rose-joints at either side, I didn't think the eibach's were the same but expected to see something similar or does it just attach straight to the rear axle where the dampers bolt onto?

I think the only one is on the Slave Cylinder (on top of the Gearbox itself...

Nice J plate G60 spotted this morning on the A12 Woodbridge Bypass Women driver, J*** KCD i think... 8)

Change the gearbox oil, look for hydraulic leaks and you may need to get the shift cables adjusted.
-
I think there were only 20 made in total - 10 in each colour... Definetly put it back to standard mate, VR6 auto with Solitudes I'd say an Auto storm is worth more...

-
No worries dude, I'm off work on monday...

Al, it should come off as one unit to reveal the bolt underneath, they sometimes seperate tho... when this happened to me i put the cover back on and tried again.
-
Could just be the heatsheild underneath? - if so use a big jubilee clip or get rid of it completly
-
new clips are a few pence each - heat it up first in boiling water else you'll bend the rear panel trying to push it in!
-
Yeah, I change the oil every 3k, used to do 5k on my golfs but the corrado runs hotter...
-
I have to really push mine to go over 100 degrees since fitting the cooler which is also mounted behind the front grill (16 row by 145mm) At present i can sit at 100mph constantly and the oil temp will not go over 100c, The highest I have seen it is 106 and that was at 120mph for a good few minutes, I expect it will go higher when the weather really gets hot but i'm happy with the results so far, a 20 degrees drop!
-
Also check there are none of the blue plastic gromets missing where the 'Corrado' badge clips on...
