Just get the H&R's - Corrado's sit perfectly on those

Mk2 ones fit all C except the VR6 (mk3) IIRC. I just bought a pair of Eibach ones that come with all the bushes except ones for the droplinks from Inters today. Loads of stands were selling them but the prices were all different, actually ended up getting them from TSR for £190 delivered FOC (they ran out)

I've heard Corrado's blow up when they reach 100k, Is this true?

H&R only do 30mm, I don't know how eibach can sell springs that don't lower the car consistently, i would send them back...

The last 500 VR's were Storms, 250 in Mystic Blue and 250 in Classic Green with 10 of each with Auto Transmission... The Jet was a special edition only sold in germany i think...

apparently so but i have not opened both up to confirm.... The G60 filter has a smaller mesh to prevent fine particles contaminating the charger. BTW - I am hacksawing the hex of the filter now as its the only way it will fit with my mocal sandwich plate on the OE heat exchanger... lol.

Both types have replacable lenses - I just bought a late pair from the dealer, £20

I have just been speaking to a 'bloke' who works in Staples, the place that hand built the car for him and the body panels were actually made of Blu-Tac, again to save on weight, I suggest we try and get a group buy going and replace our whole cars with this Blu-Tac and Tippex to increase the power to weight ratio's instead of these stupid engine upgrades were all doing.. My source also said there were new materials that have been developed since that may also be of use, he says that 'Sticky-Fixers' are the next generation of light, highly tensile material for the building of sh!te looking cars.

Yeah, I do mine every 3k... I used to do every 5k on my Golf but the oil gets hotter due to the nature of the supercharged engine altho I now have the Mocal in place and its chopped 20c of the higher oil temps! I think Kev is refering to my mocal sandwich plate which sits underneath the OE heat exchanger and makes it imposible to fit a G60 filter on the car without hack-sawing the hex off the bottom first! - still only takes 30 mins mind!!

When the light is on the ABS is disabled but the brakes still work fine. You need to get it plugged into VAG-Com to find out which sensor is causing problems, there about £35 each There are also connections ontop of the suspension mounts (under the bonnet) you could check.

Has anyone got any pictures of the 'one off' special edition corrado painted in Tippex, people in the know will know what i'm on about. I saw it at Inters a few years ago and its the best Corrado I have ever seen, I would just like some pictures to remind me, someone must have taken some (if they could view the car past the owners head!)

Get some new bumpstops from GSF too!

New Valeo (OE) ones are about £50 from GSF, just unclip the rheostat and swap it over

Several people I know have been thru front pairs of T1S's in as little as 6k miles, My 539's have been on the car about 9k and are only just half worn, have just swapped the fronts for the backs.

You gotta remember tho most Germans hate us! :roll: ...Don't mention the war.... :lol:

Good list mate, I'd always pay the bit extra and get the A539's, will last a lot longer than the Toyo's!

I think he owned a Skod between Corrado's so there is a running joke....
