  1. Have a look on eBay mate... They were being sold at Inters at £20 a set, the dealer price is £10 plus vat
  2. Thats rubbish mate, go back to the dealer... Of course the blades are available seperatly, people with Lupo's / Polo's arn't expected to buy a new arm everytime they need a blade!! - my local dealer usually keeps the blades in stack and if not gets them next day.
  3. You do get a 10% discount with club GTi but not the Corrado Club or Forum but as you say maybe Steve can sort something out!
  4. Your's does stand out tho Rodders, especially now you've got the roof rack and that shiny new Ladder on top!
  5. Halfords definetly do them, I think you buy 7 on a rail for about £20
  6. Theres also info on the club site http://www.corradoclub.co.uk BTW - the interior looks alot better in the 'flesh' than in any pix i have seen.
  7. Did you buy that set in Ipswich?? - I didn't think they were heated?
  8. But you don't look like a twat driving a Corrado don't you find?
  9. BTW - dont get the pas belt from GSF! the BOSCH belt they sell with the equivelent part number to the VW one is the wrong size (too small) - I have told them this and they are still selling them  You need 037 145 271 which is 9.5 x 663 (a Gates belt that is only available thru VW, the Gates catalog only lists a 665 which is what I had to use after GSF sold me a 10 x 650mm :x The above is right for all G60's without air-con.
  10. You need... 3 1/2J x 15 ET40 - may be hard to get hold of a 4 stud tho as mk3 GTi's are all 5 stud with 205's ie VR6 fittment. (ET38 for VR6)
  11. Might as well change the pas belt while you are there as that has to come off also... You don't need to move the alternator just its plastic cover, there is a tensioning damper for the charger and a tensioning wheel on the end of a bracket, be careful when you refit the damper as you will need to put some weight on it and also take care not to damage the rubber bushes!
  12. Younger than 55 don't you mean? I heard some twonk nearly got a VR6 stuck in the mud on the campsite :)
  13. Call yourself a doctor... You may also need to move the gear selector linkage out the way before you start and you want to clamp the feed pipe off too, may be a good idea to use something to catch the fluid and make sure you have some dot4 to refill when bleeding! Pipe unions should be 20Nm and slave to gearbox 25Nm.
  14. The 4WD also had independant rear wheels supsension 8) I guess it has to because of the 4W system....
  15. Yep, Pigs everywhere and camera's all over the place but then again the organisers promoted this! there is usually a camera along that melton road but I can't beleive they didn't filter the traffic out thru Ufford onto the A12 instead of over that crappy 3 way roundabout into melton! - It would have saved everyone sitting in traffic for an hour to get out!! Suffolk traffic police are c*nts but Kev is right about the amount of idiots this year, as I was going out there was a Audi behind (MUD on the end of the registration) and the tw*t beeped his horn all the way out thru the villages and for some reason kept pulling out and sitting on the other side of the road whilst waiting in traffic very nearly causing an accident with an oncoming vehicle, complete idiot! - that kind of behavior is going to get complaints from locals and get the show banned from yet another good venue! I also think they should ban people with burbery caps from VW events, the amount i saw! - I even saw some 10 year old wearing one!! - he'll be in jail by the time he's 18 (hopefully :-P ) The best thing i saw on saturday morning was 3 pikeys getting caught by guys on a breakers stand for pick-pocketing and then being locked in the back of there van! - they then called the event 'security' that were pretty useless by all acounts at getting them out so they got locket back in until the police arrived (the problem then being they were probably let out to come back again for the sunday as the police round here seem more interested at catching people doing 32mph thru melton :|
  16. Most likely a dodgy ignition switch - very common problem, try searching on here for more info...
  17. What size fuse is it - some Corado's have 10, 15 or 20A depending on what circuit the spoiler comes off
  18. underside of bonnet and hinges... otherwise a really good paint finish, love the colour!
  19. It was nice but you could tell it used to be red!

    NO HOT AIR??

No hot air from anywhere?? Hmmm... its still most likely the flap is jammed - can you here it going from side to side? Also check your coolant level and for wet carpets - signs of heater matrix failure....

    NO HOT AIR??

Hve you got the early (mk2 slidy) controls or the later round ones, If there slidy and feel loose then you will have snapped the cable conecting the control to the flap it opens but if they are the later ones then you may have to rebuild the control unit or get a new one from a passat - have a search one here for heater controls from more info and guides to repair.
