Yeah, must have kept them as I still had the rear wheel faults in there from the rolling road day I think, My abs light was stuck on because of a problem at the front we think and has been fine since Kev manually cleared the codes... Altho I have had the light come on before and then be fine after its restarted - maybe once there are 3 or 4 faults on the ABS in memory its telling you to get it checked out... Seems fine now and tested the ABS works

Did someone say 'Lexii'? I use lynx Africa...
-
Guys... I stand facing the rear of the car and slide the seat forwards... ..or is that backwards :?
-
Yeah.. fairly easy tho, remove the plastic covers from the guides then put the seat to its lowest setting, undo the bolt at the front and slide fwd to release
-
Yeah it will be as its custom - they didn't look like that out of the factory!! Reminds me of a mates mk2 which was respayed in its original Oak Green but with a purple flip...

And she hasn't see nyour avatar yet...

Yeah could be the switch but you don't have to remove either the seat of the wheel to replace it!!
-
Yeah, hopefully fitting the Mocal soon, the water temp is fine normally but I don't like how quickly it gets to 110 degrease when in traffic, saying that, as soon as you get moving it comes back down again so everthing working ok. The other thing to try I suppose is a low temp fan switch - I still think the G60 rad is small tho, I'm sure the one on my mk2 was bigger :?
-
My friend has it on his early G60...
-
Same here, looks great in the summer... If it is clearly different tho it means the mix is slightly wrong, maybe too much Purple :?
-
red16v, What colour is your car? :D
-
Yup, especially in a car that is capable of 150 Mph, you will feel any imperfections or unbalance and these will vibrate thru the subframe... Not nice.
-
I saw 5 today (theres loads round here) but this one really stood out... K plate Silver 16v in Waitrose car park, Bury St Edmunds Mint clean example, absolutly original... 8) Also saw several new Golfs, there starting to grow on me now!
-
Anyone know if a VR rad would fit into a G60 (with the appropriate dual fan setup) without changing the slam panel! I don't know why my car has such a stupidly small rad :|
-
My steering has got alot lighter since I fitted a new track rod (the old one had play in the ball loint), I thought it felt a bit funny at first but comparing it to the mk4 Golf I was using for work today, It feels spot on! I assume VW's progressive steering system was fairly good when the Corrado came out and they havn't changed it much since 8)
-
I got one from Inters last year for a mk1 golf, I cut it down slightly and screwed it onto the old plastic base of the corrado one, perfect fit if you have an aftermarket gear knob, if not then its dealer only i suppose!
-
I think not then, the early ones were 100pcd as were Vauxhalls
-
No, sorry mate - there the same for all mk2 golfs, 2 parts, inner and outer - if your lucky they may keep them in stock, They were when I got mine but that was 3 years ago!
-
You won't get rid of that i'm afraid altho the T cut will make it look better for a while as it will take the line out where the laquer is peeling it will just carry on going... Its usually the sign of a dodgy paint job and the only was to get rid of it is to get it done again, properly.
-
Get new ones from VW, old ones will be too worn - there are inner and outer ones and there only about a quid each IIRC
-
I know eurocarparts sell these, maybe look up the part numbers in the catalogue and compare them
