Front Lower VR6 Motor Mount Problem !!
Supercharged replied to Arrow3 VR6's topic in Suppliers Forum
Best to try VAG i would say, shouldn't be expensive. -
Bare in mind that was out of the Bentley manual aimed at the US G60 and VR6 so may not be completly accurate for UK spec cars.

There are also small rubber adjusters on each side that screw in but mine is so far out that it makes little difference! - seems to be a common problem as I have only seen a few C's that do line up properly but i'd like to get mine sorted!
-
I think that was an option, to have a full size spare alloy rather than a ss
-
Ok, cheers mate - I'll give them a call first thing on monday! Koni's were £117 inc for the rear pair and I think the fronts were £169

We could take the J out of Jabba and make it.. erm ABBA
-
Sounds good.... maybe we could just copy the Jabba one!

I have a set of the later ones and all the switches which i will fit later in the year, the EW plugs are slighly different but hopefully they will reach and I will need to get a pair of later door pulls from Inters. Whats this bracket then Majik?, looking on ETKA but can't see what you mean, any chance of a pic?

The Corrado suspension setup is alot stiffer than the mk2's, maybe this increases the wear rate of some components, the other problem being most parts were not actually made specifically for the C.

Anyone know the cheapest place to get these mailorder for a G60? - I have got quotes from £140 to £190 but the VR ones are only £120 inc!! What do people think of Eibach (I can get these for under £100) altho I think that most people say the H&R are worth the extra when matched with Koni TA's Getting the Koni's from Halfiords by the way, they were cheapest and don't charge the carriage to order them in!

I'm actually going to get rid of my wheel arches completly and replace my standard 15's with a set of 30's which I have sourced from a place called http://www.concordepartsdirect.com, this should make my car capable of at least 280Mph :)

I just looked up H3NRY but its on a SMART PURE SEMI-AUTO COUPE, Nevermind!

I rang up for an insurance quote today for my 20vT syncro...
Supercharged replied to biggerbigben's topic in General Car Chat
Yeah, thats what i thought, plus when you get over the age of 21 it only cost £50 to £100 more for fully comp on most cars... and I think you get more benifits like windscreen cover etc -
Forgot, I asked C&R earlier, they do them for about £20 and have them in stock - 0115 9785740 They also do the calipers with the conversion hoses for £85 each inc vat.
-
£400 from the dealer, are you sure its the rack and not just a gaitor?
-
School boy error....

Sand in the airbox is also great for gas flowing your G-lader...
