The VW SDi is an awful engine, we have a couple of Golf estates at work but I prefer taking out the Astra TDi's The SDi is very slow and incredibly noisey which is weird because the GTDi's are superb, very responsive, smooth and refined (for a diesel) especialy the TD150.

What torque setting for BBS RM Alloy wheel bolts?

Yeah, I need to know this too, apparently you need a special sealent as well, have you got a supplier for the bolts and rims? I also need to know the part number of the actual wheel bolts for them as mine are all different lengths :roll: -
Staring problem - Blinking is the answer :) Probably not ISV if its happening whilst driving, check the battery and earth leads... most likely a faulty fuel pump.

The sidelights do come on without the keys being in, it soulds like your headlights arn't working and thats why the main beam doesn't stay on! - probably either a fuse or a faulty switch

Erm... I think the front is the same as a mk2 but it does have an extra plastic circle surround but you will already have that... Just ask when you buy them... GSF or GPC do them... I'll give you a call, we'll have to meet up soon!

The Corrado ABS system is fine... All G60's should have it but some early ones didn't because of supply problems I think, All 91/92's car will have it.

Yours sounds like an angle grinder too then! Might be best to try and get one off a golf thats breaking...

Around 5 I reckon... I think I've seen 5 now but could be the same ones... The one at Stealth was Mystic Blue, I have seen a green one and an Aqua one I think...

Could also be the pipe leading to the slave? Or maybe fluid leaking internally into the clutch housing then out again at the bottom...

Check the fluid levels, is there also fluid on top of the gearbox?

Not forgetting the water pump itself, thats where mines starting to go - I can't beleive the chargers got to come off If I want to change the whole unit! :roll:

Are you sure its not Hydraulic fluid? - maybe from a leaky slave cylinder?

If you do have another filter, you should start the engine and immediatly turn it off then start again. But yes, best to stick to genuine, especially important on a G60!
