faulty brake servo / master cylinder?
-
I think World of Ice in colchester do it - its not cheap but i heard they do a reasonable job (they use film)
-
Maybe a good run will sort it out.
-
Website is a bit pants and out of date but there usually pretty good on the phone
-
Its not still under warranty i take it?
-
Andi, theres not actually that much wrong with it! - Hopefully you can get it sorted fairly quickly and cheaply with help from people on here, I personally wouldn't want to get rid of it as it has leather and aircon!! I know its on high miles but thats a testament to the build quality of VW engines  Hope you get it all sorted mate!

The flat one is the early style, the rounded one is late, new ones from a breakers or dealers...

Aqua Blue Pearl = Proper Bo 8)
-
Try and get one from an old audi, should fit but will be more powerful
-
I think its in the drivers side rear door card (IIRC)
-
Yeah, I got the same thing on mine after the previous owner had the clutch done by 'Mr Clutch' - they have replaced it 4 times now under warranty and it still does it, I think I may have a distorted fork / release lever in there or it could be just a cheap bearing/knackered release sleeve or there not using the correct grease on it (should be molybdenum disulphide)

Knocking normally points to CV joints
-
Halfords are selling warning triangles cheap at the moment, they look like they'll fit but i'd check first
-
The first headlight switch position is just the sidelights.

My MFA is pretty accurate from what i've worked out, I have had 40mpg on a (slow) trip to Norwich last year (50mph all the way), I get 30mpg to work everyday which is a 12 mile journey with a mix of town and A road driving. G60's are pretty economic really. 8)

Jedi! - you muppet - thats what that big metal tube is for underneath the car, for running wires
-
I've always liked BBS as they are an OE supplier, you can get sets of the new ones with tyres for under £500 (i think Club gti get a 10% discount from BBS direct) 16's are a good size also for bigger brakes!
-
most likely a loose heatsheild, check the one underneath the CAT, if its broken either get it removed or get a large jubilee clip put round it
-
But maybe you get another 20 iBhp* *iBhp = Imaginary Brake Horse Power
-
Yeah, when I changed my broken handles, the wires just came off at the handle end, they had completly perished
-
Hmmm, reckon its worth chanmging the slave, 30 quid part.
-
Should be fine but may be better to get a trickle charger, Draper do one i think
-
Yup, you'd be lucky to get half the standard 160bhp out of a NA-PG

...and VW are based in Milton Keynes... :?
