  2. We have a mk5 golf gt tdi and a bmw 118d m sport Sean, the BMW feels a lot more solid then the golf but the golf is more economical. The only issue with the M sport we've found is in the snow where it is very difficult to drive, we left it in the garage but that is only 1 week in a year. The golf goes through anything!!! Oh and there is a common problem with the BMW engine but not sure if it would be on the model your looking at.
  3. Could be the older style that one, my new style ones I just bought dont have a hole in them
  4. I have 2 standard dishes for 17" RS301's but they need a polish.
  5. Good stuff Matt, are you rubbing it all down for spraying youself?
  6. Cool pictures, give me a shout on the cams if you go r32!
  7. Gutted for you Neil but the Schrick and the cams should go well towards an R32 engine if you fancied that???
  8. I wish I didn't delete the first video as I think I would have had Neil's pigeon strike! There should be some great pictures of us coming down the runway taken by Neil's better half.
  9. Yep! Well that 1 minute of fun has just cost £92 in the way of 2 new front indicators.....
  10. Impressive Jim, to say I wasn't even going to take mine down there I was happy at 140mph on the speedo, I think my arse is connected to my braking foot and when it twitched so did the brakes!
  11. Thanks Sean. Just thought I would put my video link here so I dont loose it.
  12. Didnt really take any pictures at the national day as I only have my iphone, I did take this one of mine just before I washed it, quite impressed and a little moody! Thanks again for those who voted for my car, very grateful and didnt expect to get anything with all the impressive cars there this weekend.
  13. Just want to say thanks to the organisers for sorting this event, I've had a fantastic weekend. So many great corrado's turned up and a big well done to Nick, his storm is truly exceptional and a worthy winner. Thanks to all those that voted for mine again. Really gutted about your car Neil, it went so well down the runway on our first run and looked great as you struck that pigeon, it honestly looked like the picture you see when a plane breaks the sound barrier! You can keep the beers, use them when stripping the VR down. Cant believe I run my car down the runway but opportunities like that dont come along often so what the hel!! Did get a small battle scar in the way of 2 broken front indicators but never mind, 1 was cracked anyway. heres a video of my sencond run, 140mph by the speedo then chickened out, it did have a bit more in her. My mates commentary is hilarious!
  14. Congrats on the win Nick, it certainly was deserved. You've started with the best Corrado (classic green storm) and just improved everything, I was really impressed with the interior as it looked completely stock and the wheels really suit the car. The turbo installation is far more descrete then I was expecting. Can I put my name down for a spin in it next time I see you please?
  15. Blue sky's at the moment, but my Corrado is totally grafted from the drive down:-(, good cleaning session in the morning should sort it though.
  16. We are down at bruntingthorpe and it's sunny and nice. Only a couple of showers since getting here, watched a few planes giving it some beans on the runway, had a few beers with Sean and now sat in the local pub going to order takeaway!!! Already sank plenty of beers so pretty happy!!
  17. I understand what you mean Daren, the underneath of mine is going to get wet for the first time in the last year or so :-(
  18. Looking great Sean, looking forward to seeing it this weekend, think you have it set just right there, not too low.
  19. Dont know if these can be made to fit? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Audi-ford-16-4x108-Nothelle-alloy-set-of-5-RARE-euro-not-bbs-rs-rm-/181415385273?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item2a3d3318b9
  20. I have +1 in my car and my mate is meeting us there in his car (non Corrado), he's bringing the tent, as my boot space isn't that big in my Corrado.
  21. I'm getting there for about 1:30pm on Saturday I reckon!!
  22. Any pictures of the finished results Michael? I have a couple of small areas around some of the studs I wouldnt mind to sort.
  23. Amazing talent but if the finished car is anything like the own in his signature picture then he shouldnt have bothered!!
  24. Anyone noticed on Pistonheads that there are only 6 Corrados for sale? There always used to be a few pages of them, maybe they are starting to get more rare....
  25. Looks spot on, any chance you can measure from ground to the bottom of the wheel arch up through the centre of the wheel please? This might give me a good idea of the difference between my coilover height now and the B12's as I think I have the measurements of mine.
