the piston was being held together by the rings. we to belive this piston has been broken for quite some time... also looks like fatigue has caused this to break..

please be aware that these are a very tight fit into the front of a corrado.

the cossie ones dont fit well in the corrado front. if i were you and u want to use somthing from another vechicle i wouls go for a renualt traffic / vahxual movano intercooler, these fit in nicely one the headers are modded the flow very nice too.

easi mate elliott is a top bloke and went out of his way today to insure everybody got a go with the timing gear etc when really under the crap conditions this morning most other mag editors would of stayed in bed.... hats of to pvw for paying all the expenses for today and making it a top day.. ps. im also sure elliott reads this forum too... :lol:

yeah if you have a look on http://www.amazon.ca you can buy a corrado manual by robert bently but...... this wont specificly cover your 16v engine as they didnt have them in the states. you a mixture of this and a mk2golf 16v one and you should be laughing.

if you remove the charger an oil cooler kit should take no longet than 2 hrs to fit.. :-P

scott > or anyone else who has had a 306 dt do you know how to clear the stereo so that i can put the correct code into it to get it working again its one fo the clarion factory fit things... car had new battery and i put the wrong code in now its locked !! is there a way of unlocking it so i can put the right code in ?
