Have you done a compression test on all the cylinders? Did the plug smell of anything? Pre-det can fuck a spark plug, I've heard of parts of electrodes to even melt off because of the intense heat caused by pinking

Yeah I read about those custom mounts in another thread, I think thats the one I read that gave me the idea that they put more stress on the charger, Just wanna hear what they sound like!

I think the SLC is a VR6 unless I'm mistaken so the torque settings would be different?

Yeah but the silencer kits are meant to be well pricey aren't they, and I read somewhere that they put a load more stress on the charger?

There's a massive thread about this somewhere, try a quick search for it mate, that's what I looked through, and I'm gonna fit mine cos the ones on there are knackered. Havent got round to it yet so can't comment.

I know I've seen it somewhere before but has anyone got/know of a link to a video of a Bahn Brenner charger'd G60? I'd like to know what they sound like, just how loud they are etc! Cheers

Is your car lowered? The general opinion I got is if it's lowered, then do it because it changes the geometry of the passive rear wheel steer making it not as effective, whereas if your car is at standard height then you would be wasting the rear wheel steer by having hard bushes.

THe only problem is I think they are going to become/already becoming a bit TSW Venom. They look nice (unlike Venoms ever did) but every scally has a set. I am however still tempted to do it to mine......

I get this, it's annoying, since the needle stays at the bottom line (not empty, the one before the red) for ages. Usually they stay at the top for ages, but mine only reads 3.4 full. Small, but annoying problem. PLease let me know how you get on so I can fix mine. Or just hit it with something big, heavy, and possibly sharp.

*cough* S3!!!! Sorry mate! That's EXACTLY what happened to me. Couldn't get out drivers side, had no idea where I was and didnt realise I was upside down, then when I couldnt get out I shi*t myself, had a few bad dreams about that!

No, I meant the rubber seal around the door, that essentially makes it airtight and watertight, it runs all the way round the door but is actually on the door not on the frame, I will take the doorcard off and check that sheeting as well though.
